Don't know what to tell you. It's city water from the tap that's been released out of a syringe dropper at a height of somewhere around 3 feet above the bowl. If you do like slow-motion liquid stuff, check out my shot of a welding rod melting: th-cam.com/video/PSZo30tFlrM/w-d-xo.html
Hmmm... that's an interesting device which I wasn't aware of. The only downside is that I'm shooting high speed video and not stills. Might be worth bookmarking, though, if the need arises. Thank you for the recommendation!
The camera doesn't record sound. I suppose I could've added music or something. Unfortunately, even if I did add music now, TH-cam doesn't have an option that I'm aware of to replace a video with a new version.
@@AdSortiumMediaupload a 2nd with some music? Just have 2 versions. Then folks who want to enhoy with music can do so... just a suggestion. This is epically cool, tho. 🩶💧
LOL. Thanks for the compliment! Is this because you're thinking it's too good to be real? I can assure you the shot isn't fake or a computer rendering. In fact, a photo of the set-up for this shot is posted on my website here: www.slowmotionvideoproduction.com/about. It's the red-ish photo (currently the third one down) on the page.
If the water's base would become flat before the drop that went above hit it, this would be an infinite loop. Thats why science is so fun
it has way more height at the start

Why is nobody talking about how this isn't usually how a droplet falls...? It doesn't usually break the surface tension immediately??

That's like an asteroid hit then it made a massive tsunami
That drop did not want to be in that lake
This is clearly a metaphor for capitalism
I just found this trying to describe the experience I had while pooping.
LOL. You gotta avoid that splash back.

Try with Miops water drop kit. You would get amazing footage.

@@AdSortiumMedia if you use continuous bright light source, you could capture amazing footage. I think there is a slo-no video on youtube.
What did you actually drop into the water ?
It was just a drop of water out of either a dropper pipet or syringe.
SWEEET can you put sound to this...
