For those wondering how they didn’t pop, I believe they used regular sized balloons and filled them with water, but only to about 1/3 or less the usual capacity, hence why they stretch so much

Secondly, the surface of sword (even though its sharp) has larger surface area for latex to expand to an extent to explode. If they would have used pointy angle, the balloon would have exploded.
