    Soft Gamine, can confirm. We really do like to play around and have fun talking to people. I have been called "unique" and "interesting" in the past. I do move a bunch, and if I'm not moving I'm making all kinds of faces lol XD A friend told me because of this and me looking cute, I get away with swearing and saying outrageous things. I have lol

    I'm soft gamine (I believe) and this completely fits me. I hear that I'm very expressionate, even when I don't feel like I am. Definitely agree with the quick bursts lol

    Uhm yes as a soft gamine- I almost have this nervous/anxious energy about me sometimes when I’m talking/concentrating. I also use my hands a lot when I talk. I bite the insides of my cheeks constantly. I’m super clumsy and talk too fast half of the time.
    Anyways yes I related to this :)

    This is so interesting since I have settled that I am a flamboyant natural. But my entire face and eyes have always been classified as “harmless and friendly”. I have a very full wide face and angled too like Jenna Coleman. But my body is stacked like a FN with a very leggy inseam. My eyes are so expressive with micro changes at a rapid pace with the fluttering and fluidity. I’m not striking or stunning. But rather adorable and pretty.

      I know exactly what you describe :] I have a theory this is more common in Asian women. I actually know a few women exactly as you describe. One is half Korean half Japanese with an adorable face that has delicate angularity. She is tall and has wide bones and is a bit straight waisted. I have not seen this as much in other ethnic types.

    • @ElyWill
      @ElyWill 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      thealignedlover How interesting to know this! My family is from Laos and Thailand but we are an ethnic minority that I suspect isn’t what we’ve been labeled. Any who, that’s great to know. It seems rather opposite: my face vs my body line and I’ve had a hard time dressing for my face. Also, my twin is Japanese actress Rinko Kikuchi!

    • @thealignedlover

      @@ElyWill Ah how cool! You've actually inspired me to collect a few taller Asian actresses to analyze for a video :] if you have anymore suggestions that fall under that, let me know 💕

      thealignedlover That’s so exciting to hear! I’ll let you know who I can think of.
      Another twin of mine is Hana Mae Lee at 5’5”. I can also think of Go Ara at 5’7”, Yang Zi at 5’6”, Tiffany Tang at 5’8”, Baifern at 5’5”, Davikah Hoorne at 5’9”, and Cherry Khemupsom at 5’9”. All actress across Asia.

    new subscriber! I just wanna thank you for making this video because I've been thinking about how my mannerism is a bit too energetic and full of gestures compared to my friends and I thought maybe I needed to become quieter and more like a lady you know and I tried it but it just doesn't sound me and I didn't know what was wrong

    I am studying the similarities and differences between Kibbe and Living Your Truth systems. What's interesting here is that each of these ladies are either type 1 (the bright, bubbly, youthful women) or Type 4 (the serious, poised, regal woman) with a type 1 secondary energy. The LYT system also goes into Yin/Yang. One video shows a lineup of all of the women. It goes by primary and secondary types and what's so interesting is that you have the highest movement women at the top of the line, and as you move down the line, the movement gets less and less until at the very end of the line you have the ladies who are very still. It's very fascinating, as is Kibbe. I still don't know if I'm a Soft Gamine or a Romantic, though. I'm a type 1 in LYT. My body seems to be romantic but my nose is long, my lips are small and thin, and my hair is thin and fine. Drew Barrymore, Marilyn Monroe, and Christina Ricci are all type 1 women, but they have very yin faces. My face is yin other then my nose, lips, and hair, so that's really the only yang features I have, but I'm definitely not theatrical romantic. I very much have an Ingenue essence, which seems to across the board with type 1 ladies. It's so confusing.

    As a SG I definitely can relate to these examples. When I am engaging with someone, I can be very animated not even realizing it. I can see myself in all these movements even in a doctor's office setting. I have lots of questions for them. I asked my husband once when the doctor was out of the room if I was talking too much, and he said YES. I told him to go into the waiting room. LOL. Most of the time I will leave with the doctor's visit and think we had a great conversation.😄

    This video series is a lot of fun, though I of course agree that it shouldn't be taken to mean "every type X behaves the same" as you say at the start of the video. It might be interesting to compare and contrast the sub-types mannerisms, as you kind of did here with the FG and SG.
    I relate very much with the "candid" facial expressions. I've caused a doctor, an old curmudgeonly professor and bosses (among others) to laugh (or stifle a laugh) at the expressions that just decided to come out in response to whatever statements or questions were spoken. I can't help it-they just pop right out. I wonder if part of that is cultural as well? I've been told by a couple of people that Americans tend to be very obvious with their expressions. I'm sure there are also cultures where expressions are more subdued. If anyone knows, feel free to educate me.
    Also: Sally Field is still adorable. I saw her in a movie called "Hello, My Name is Doris" back in 2015 and she looked like a young lady in old-age makeup.

    • @thealignedlover
      @thealignedlover  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Americans are super expressive compared to others and we definitely smile quite a bit. My Parisian boyfriend says at first he thought all Americans were fake and couldn't get used to the constant smiling (L.A. at least). And yes, Sally Field is forever adorable and cute.

    I keep coming back to this video. Especially today because I saw a video of me speaking and I couldn’t believe how accurate this is😬😅 It’s crazy to me that humans just come in the same fonts.
    *edit: I see that you’re being recommended Claire Nakti’s videos in the sidebar of this video. I was wondering if you’ve noticed a correlation between nakshatras and the different types? I certainly have, but I haven’t anyone to talk to about it.

    Trying to decide if my mannerisms are closest to SG, SC, or SN. Do SGs tend to furrow their brows when talking? This is one of the facial expressions I make the most. It's almost a scowl, but it's just my face when I'm thinking something through. I noticed Winona do something similar at the beginning of her interview, but I don't raise my eyebrows or open my eyes much when talking, I actually tend to narrow them. I look around a lot, though.

    Why Halle Berry is a SG and not SD? I'm so confused

    • @littlemissfrostbite5204
      @littlemissfrostbite5204 4 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      Soft Dramatics have bigger and wider bones. They're vertical line looks long so they look tall/are tall and their limbs look long.
      Soft gamines are more delicate, look small, visually look lighter (not weight) and they have a mixture of ying and yang but more ying in their bone structure and flesh. They can be very fleshy too.
      Soft dramatics look heavier (not weight) and their ying mostly comes from their flesh. Their bone structure is yang.
      That's my unsterstanding of it. I hope that makes sense :)

    • @littlemissfrostbite5204
      @littlemissfrostbite5204 4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @kshiftkometh Yeah, its difficult but there will be a moment when you start to see it. Some are more obvious than others. Certain body types look similar which makes it harder. I don't have a full grasp on it yet unless it's really obvious to me. Just keep analysing every body type until it becomes clearer🙂

    • @thealignedlover
      @thealignedlover  4 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      SDs have lots of sharpness, angularity, and length (Yang) with soft flesh (Yin).
      Look at SD women; they do not look petite. They look stretched out and weightier. Statuesque. A curvaceous wine goblet.
      Compare them to SG women who have a much more compacted look to them. SGs are a mix of Yin and Yang (Gamine) with softer flesh. They are like teacups compared to SD.

      I find typing her to be very confusing, she looks very different from other SGs...I feel like Halle Berry is maybe between SG and SC or SN (or she could be another type entirely?)...she looked more SG in her early 20s, which was when Kibbe typed her. She doesn’t look petite/short, she looks very moderate in height/size, sometimes she even looks kind of tall. Her body also looks strong and broad (very SN), with very little flesh, especially when compared to other SGs and SCs (it could be because she’s lean and works out a lot, idk). She does have a Gamine vibe though, but I feel like it has more to do with the way she styles herself and her personality/demeanor (and less to do with her physical structure). It’s like with Brigitte Bardot, she’s 5’7 SN, but she has a very SG vibe to her.

      @bumblebee_0112 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@fatoumfatoumeh I disagree I think she just looks different in clothes but she still is sg to me and looks best in those clothes. You can maybe argue classic but she doesn't have much balance other then her height seeming average.
