Good looking truck.. but if all you’re looking for is volume i guess this is the way.. but if you want it to sound good you gotta add an x pipe with these true dual set ups.. IMO

I just noticed he mentioned that he added the Daytona "stickers" to the truck. That is not true. That is a graphics and performance package that Dodge provided for the truck. Includes graphics body molding, hood, lower gearing, and a rear exit Borla exhaust which he just hacked off for that crap.
I can't even get my truck to clap like that when I rev it in park lol
I wouldn't have done a dual side exit though I like an even sound
@@boratwilson9916 You noticed there was no before video on this truck and for good reason. This setup sounds awful. They should have left the Borla exhaust system alone.
@@ragintaurusmusclemercury7023 to be fair they all the vehicles sound good 😆 I heard a white silverado on a channel a while ago... sounded good on start. but dude as soon as it went to driving, especially on the hard take off it legit sounded like a wet fart spooling up. it was the worst exhaust I have heard on the 5.3. I like loud but there's a right way to do it. and a wrong

Oh hell no! We need to have a discussion, this is getting way too far out of hand! You can barely hear this truck and sounds no different than a stock 4cyl Nissan Frontier, and that's a damn shame 😐 Owner should have just run open manifolds, which is hands down the best setup and provides perfect back pressure and improved oil pressure to 190.35 psi on these 2005 Dodge RAM 1500 5.7L's.

Daytona Edition Ram is a thing but this one isn’t a true Daytona edition. He says in the beginning that he added the stickers and spoiler.
@@wilcoker8575 The exhaust guy said it. I wouldn't take his word for it. He is not knowledgeable about vehicles. If it is not a Daytona then he put a lot of money into making it look like one. The hood, body molding, wing, graphics, etc.
P.S. The Daytona Ram does have SLT on the tailgate. Some people remove them but they come with the badge on them. Plenty of videos online verify this and my neighborhood bought on new. Has the SLT badge on it.

What kind of exhaust would you recommend? I have a 5.3 2011 silverado. I’m looking for something a little on the cheaper side that isn’t really loud but has a nice sound.
I got a 2014 5.3 that's stupid loud on my page. but it's borla cat back now catless true dual. but if you want some thing cheaper exhaust shops can make you a full exhaust for like 200-300$ using lower quality metal. or if you want it even cheaper I'm assuming you got a single exit exhaust, you can simply hack the muffler and resonater of for like 100-200$. it depends on what you want really. these guys here use stainless so it expensive. I paid 1200$ for botla atak cat back. but these guys could make you one I think a guy said 800$ because stainless. I know I spent alot on mine. but I'd do it again because borla cleans up clap really good.
A knock-off Flowmaster style muffler would be good, they are cheap if ya get Jeg’s brand but still good quality, a muffler shop would most likely weld it in for less than $100.

@@deerhunter2862 I personally would never recommend Flowmaster to anyone unless you try to kill clapped exhaust. or like a Super charged car. It to me is a weaker brand compared to like borla or corsa. but this guy who commented might be looking for atleast a super 10. good half way point between stock and a deep growl

Personally I luv SRT10 version of Ram especially 90s 2nd Gen era have u had any Srt10 ram come by ur muffle shop& exhaust. That 05 Hemi 5.7 ram is clean but don't know owner went for Daytona package them.
They don’t make 2nd gen srt-10
They have a v10 but it’s a 2500 and not for speed
