  • In this podcast, Sounds True’s founder, Tami Simon, speaks with “The Iceman,” Wim Hof, about how we can each shine the light of our souls brighter and brighter, for the good of all beings. Tune in as they discuss getting out of our comfort zones to activate the body’s natural healing abilities; how we can begin to control the body’s autonomic nervous system to release trauma, boost energy, and do things we never thought possible for ourselves; the three pillars of the Wim Hof Method-cold exposure, breathwork, and the power of the mind; the metaphor of the Crown and the king/queen in each one of us; accessing the depths of peace and stillness; planting the seed of the impact we want to make in the world; finding our empowerment at this particular time we’re in; and more.

The cold that the Neanderthals were exposed too for 200,000 to 400,000 years may have played a major role in their longevity.

Scientific research showed that WHM stops anxiety immediately and 90% of the depression symptoms in a few days. It takes 6-8 months to heal all kinds of autoimmune disease, because WHM put immune system at it's 'factory settings ' and the cause of the disease vanish.

I’ve only done the cold showers twice now; the first time 30 seconds & the second two minutes. Around about the 26 second mark the gasping and mild expletives began to fade. I started to feel almost warm. Then when I was out of the shower I felt a soft gentle warmness and a wonderful sense of peace. I wonder how this might truly change my life if I continue the practice.

Met Wim a while ago in 2015. Allopathic diagnosis was i was to die very weak of progressive heart failure by 2019.....for sure. The short story is alternative energy, alternative methods including the COLD, which is a huge natural high. Do breathwork mornings with about 40 push-ups. Swim in a very northern climate all year round.

I’ve been doing the WHM method for over two weeks now due to neurological health problems and I’m feeling much better than I have done for six months of severe disability. It’s changing my life. Wim, thank-you from the bottom of my heart all the way to my Corona! ❤

Watching 2nd time now this a.m. Took my "normal" morning shower and as you mentioned, at the end, I turned the water to cold. Shocking at first, but went right into and stayed in it for 30 seconds approx. I look for being able to hit that goal of 2 minutes and to get into practicing the breathing technique also. Thank you Tami for this interview with Wim Hof. I hope his enthusiasm and light spreads easily around the world. He may really have something here. Time will tell.

    Summary:
30 to 40 big inhales, natural exhales, and then we let the breath out, and we don’t breathe in for a while.
“And then I do 20 minutes of this breathing.” --deep breathing, pulling in, letting go, pulling in, letting go, pulling in, letting go, pulling in, letting go. If you keep on going 30 times, then you blow off the carbon dioxide, that is as the acid inside the body, it suddenly goes way down, pH level goes way up.
After 30 deep breaths, pH level is way up, and then the last time, you stop breathing, and you don’t need to breathe because the pH level is very up. So it takes a minute or one and half minutes, it’s 90 seconds, 100 seconds, and you don’t feel the force to breathe. What happens is a lot of biochemical processes inside the body. The body is going to be reset, five times more blood will flush into the heart and brain.
So at the start I did five minutes, six minutes, seven minutes without breathing.
I saw all the chakras, all the colors, all the geometric patterns, anything that was in the esoteric books, I saw it all, the transformations, the trauma release, the 3D, the DMT
    Feeling is the real proof
Physiologically more blood will be flowing into the heart and brain, which gives, spinally, past our conditioned blood flow, the right nutrition to get into the deep brain, to deep sensations in the heart. In the nervous system it is the deep stimulation activation of the parasympathetic nervous system, which is the peace.
After 30 seconds, 40 seconds of “deep diving” you feel such a stillness.
And that goes deeper than people exercising four hours a day, mindfulness for years. This deep activation of the peacemaker, the regeneration, the rehabilitation, the deep peace within, where mind is getting into deep stillness, where the blood flow goes suddenly into the deeper areas of the brain, like a cloud it descends, because there is no action going on.
This little seed of our neurotransmitter activation, our willful intent is a little, very subtle current, and that within the stillness created is able to land into the soil of eternity. We are able to go past time and space and sense it, sense who we are and what we are, our purpose, and it really has the ability to listen to what we as humans want, our deepest wish.
We go into unprecedented, deep stillness, where we learn to feel that our intentions are heard, that prayers are being heard.
You Get high on your own internal drug supply, you don’t need drugs from the outside.
You don’t need the external world, you need this subtle little connection within, called faith, which is now a neurological connection.

I actually enjoy reading information on other sites that speak negatively about Wim Hofs claims for they obviously haven't done much research, if any on Wim Hof and his amazing achievements. The worst of it is they claim to be doctors? Yes I question that. I understand that Wim is stepping on a lot of toes not only in the medical establishment, also in the literature realm. Strange if one considers Wim Hofs key to happiness that can transcend that which creates unhappiness and unnecessary sickness in our lives. Can have the opposite effect for thoes that are feverishly opposing Wim Hofs breathing exercises and cold water treatments. That's said but self inflicted.

If only it was explained the natural resonance of physical, mind, and breathing. Nothing can be done without this. Manipulate of breathing can have serious effects on one's health. They are chasing a feeling, a light. No control, this is opposite and will wear off, or harm one.

@@mediaconglomerate4897 yes but one has to know natural resonance breathing and peaceful, silent mind. Must not manipulate breathing, in wind, or salty air.
