There is a hole in the center of that shaft. You can use your bar tip grease gun to inject grease to that bearing through the hole in the center of the shaft. Just a little goes a long ways.

The metal ting noise as you were spinning the drum was from the drum not being seated down on the oiler arms. If you look at the rear edge of the drum, it has notches in it that need to line up with the oiler that is behind/underneath the clutch. It sounds like it fell into place, but if it didn't, your saw won't be pushing out any bar oil
