I use my Fiskar's maul when doing the oak. Splitting axe is just too much effort. Especially when you have 50+ rounds to split.
@@BlackMan614 yeah I understand that, thanks commenting.
Hims cute
Hims is
Heck yeah 🔥
Put it on another log to help the force stay in the log and not go to the ground.
@@troyandre8441 ok will do
Thank you sir!
Looks nice brother 👌
Yeah I love oak, I smell it while I split lol. Yeah I think if you do break it they have a warranty!
That’s some nice red oak julk, love splitting it most of the time it’s a clean split. I have 2 of those axs as well. Can’t break em!!
Do you have a lot of cherry trees in your area?
Yeah maybe
Nice!! Looks like you got quite a nice technique 👌
Thanks, by your channel name it looks like you probably do as well lol. I’ll check your channel out!
@Julks1990 Yes sir! Thanks 😃

Yeah I need to dress the bar for sure.
Great video do u landscape on the side ?
@@ChaseISABOY I do it full time
Amsoil is good based of what I heard from the Internet I personally use stihl hp ultra, but it smells really bad for Christmas. I’m asking for a.br 200 I’m going to try Aspen 2 acid is reduced fume
Yeah I’ve heard it smells bad!
Nice! what brand is the grinder?
Harbor freight cheap
Sounds good 👌 modified?
Just a little 👌
Nice blower is it the pb9010 ⁉️
@@ChaseISABOY yes it is, that’s the daily.
HELL YA!💯✌️🪚💪
@@ChaseISABOY cutting up some cherry! Oh yeah!
Beautiful saw do you think you will ever get a Makita bar? I think it would look good with a Makita bar they sell them at Home Depot. The ones that you put on the battery saws I think they work for the gas but it’s your shot and your choice.
@@ChaseISABOY Yeah I have my eye on a lightweight bar of some kind but a makita bar would look nice. I’m only running this now because that’s what it came with.
Never seen anyone split wood on the ground use a bigger log put it on it and you won't hit your leg
@@tonyramelli8467 Thanks for watching
Nice
@@Thegreatrathaswon thanks
Tell your kid to move so it doesn't get hit with splinters. Also why the hell are you chopping into the dirt. Is this your first time splitting wood lol Wtf
@@stevenmaring6838 Thanks for your comment.
Guys I am 63 done this all my life because I had to dry small wood like this I use a hatchet try a piece of white oak that's dried out for a year or so get ready to sweat
@@GaryBonnell-m9q not sure we will try it with a hatchet but we split oak all the time, thanks for your comment.
So proud of his Daddy😊❤
@@Pleebixx yeah he is lol.
Tap it awwwwww adorable ❤❤
@@Meow-meow421 Yeah he’s a good boy.
Good lessons for kids. Save your axe head, tho. Put the logs on top of a stump. That way you won't be hitting rocks.
@@BeyondBirth thank you
Fiskars from Finland
@@arita4910 Are you from Finland?
What a great family you have!
@ Thank you!
The wood is so dry you can split it with a butter knife try splitting oak logs
Why criticise someone that’s doing something productive for their family?
@@tonyramelli8467 I split oak all the time, wet or dry it doesn’t matter. Thanks for your comment Tony.
@@cjshake Thank you for your comment and support.

Very nice video. I have a electric Makita chainsaw, which never gave me any trouble. I don’t use it much, but when I need it, just always seems to be ready.

@@Mightycaptain Yes a little bit.
Can you play music in the cabin and in the bed at the same time?
@@laxryan2390 I am not 100% sure, but I think it was one or the other.
Most likely hit some metal imbedded in the tree. Probably a bullet or metal fencing. I grew up in a very rural area and we found 2/3 bullets in downed trees that we cut and harvested
@@Euro2005mc wow good to know, luckily it didn’t wreck my chain.
That is a great chainsaw! Thanks for the video and response! As far as that noise goes, what grease did you end up using? Thanks !
@@nathanschneider6884 I think I used white lithium not sure if that’s correct, I’d say any is better then that squeal! lol. I might try wheel bearing grease or moly grease in the future. Thanks for being apart of the channel.
@@Julks1990 Thank you!
Fired up my new echo cs 590 today and I’m hearing the same noise. Take the clutch cover off and spin the clutch drum by hand. It’s gotta be that washer. Did you find out what was going on? Thanks!
@@nathanschneider6884 yes I greased the washer and bearing. I’m pretty sure it was the washer. No pig squeak any more haha.
@@nathanschneider6884 here is the update th-cam.com/video/5vXwFaqRny0/w-d-xo.htmlsi=oRZY_wpjRKtFUoFp
That is a wood chisel! Not designed for metal! Use a putty knife, or something similar to dislodge. Fifty to one works. Better have really good oil if you’re running leaner or price cylinders and piston before making decisions. You could invest in a real file for future projects 😢
