- This is the first demo of Scraper, the new scraping option for Onion on Miyoo Mini+ !
Scraper allows you to download covers of your games automatically !
It will be available in Onion 4.2.0.

Is there a way to choose what image type to scrape, like to get screenshots instead of boxart? Could this be added to the settings menu in the future?

I dont see the option to search for gameplay-art instead of box-art ? Is that possible? Also can you combine both gameplay AND box art, that would be pretty cool!
In other words can you customize the way the art looks directly from the miyoo (instead of having to do it manually on a computer)
Currently with this with all games! I guess it must take way long, right now with SNES games... So I assume I need to wait long time and better using the charger.

This is a shell script, not python.
However python 3 is possible, we have compiled a package but it’s too big to be included in Onion.

I have already pushed the modifications on Onion repository. We "just" need to build an udpate of the 4.2.0 beta ;) So I hope soon.
“Screens Crapper” 💀
Its not working for me :-/. Says I need to be connected to wifi, when I select scrape all roms; even though I am already connected to wifi....
Strange, first time that I see this issue.
You can remove the "exit" line 447 in ".tmp_update/script/scraper/menu.sh"
Instead of checking by name, hash the file, and compare it to a database which has hashes (or multiple known hashes) for each game to identify it. I'm getting a lot of "game id not found" errors for about half my library actually. Hashing the files would be a lot more accurate to identify the games. Especially given that retroachievements *requires* specific rom hashes to get achievements.
Hashes for screenscraper are already implemented in my last update (not released for now but already present on Github). There are many other improvements on the scraping feature. I hope to make a release very soon, including a lot of netplay fixes too.
