Great edit and even better ride 👍🏻🇦🇺
Thanks, appreciate the feedback.
Great to have you back. Please add more directions so we can do your runs 🎉
Thanks, Always welcome feedback from my subscribers. What's your opinion, which is best, the the moving map or a static map of the route. Do I spend more time talking through the route at the start? Take care .
Went across Dargo High Plains and through Mt Hotham to Omeo a year ago, awesome road
Yeah, It's a magic road. Should be on everyone's to-do list.
Nice work mate good to see a new video from you 👍i live in the Snowys & think some of the best riding is in nsw and vic snowy areas
Thanks for that. Yes, it's been a while. I'll get back to doing more rides and videos. Thanks for your patients.
It’s been awhile. Awesome roads, the Omeo Hwy gets rave reviews from all that ride it. Planning something similar but next February when it’s a tad warmer.
Yes, have not done a video in ages, for various reasons. I'll start to do more again. Agree on the Omeo Hwy. What a great road! February will be good. My toes and hands were burning and throbbing they were that cold.
What a great ride, that area is on my bucket list! Just wondering what app you were using for your navigation? I'm Looking forward to your spring ride.
Thanks David, well worth the time to ride that region. I use Scenic as my nav app on iPhone. The thing I like about it is the ability to determine exact routes I want to ride on Google Maps, then use the URL of that to paste into the Scenic Web App and export to the iPhone. Of course, I have a backup navigator when it rains. Garmin Zumo 595.
Great trip, thanks
Glad you enjoyed it
Well done 👏 great video well put together
Ron, Thanks for the feedback. A beautiful part of the country!
Great to see you back posting rides Brad. I guess you could say you went on a "chillin' high country ride " If your going past Anglers Rest, worth considering staying at the Blue Duck Inn. I think its under new management, still getting good reviews.
Thanks mate! Yes, it's been a while. I'm in a better place to continue with them now. "Chillin" it was. But still loved getting away. Yes, when I rode past the Blue Duck, I wasn't sure it was open. I'll have to check it out next time!
Love the video, may I ask are those 2 devices on the right brake fluid reservoir camera remotes & if so, may I ask the brand? Thank you
Thanks for the feedback. Yes they are. One of the reasons why I haven't published any videos for a while is because of the issues I was having with GoPro cameras. In short, they are junk. I'm now using DJI Osmo Action 4 cameras. They are brilliant! Super reliable, don't overheat and seize up, great images. You can see the two remote controllers on a strap that's wrapped around the brake reservoir. They work really well. Brad
@@RidesRoadsPeoplePlaces Thanks so much for the info, I'll look into them
Looks very dry out there. I will be doing the same trip in October this year so I hope it greens up
. The road condition looks pretty good. How did you find the roads?
Hi, the roads were in great condition. Yes, it's the driest I've seen that area. I'm planning to do a Spring ride down there in either early October or early November. Still have a number of roads to explore.
Looking to explore this area in december, thanx for the vid
Cool, Also try the Jingellic Pub for accommodation. It's right on the Murray river.
Awesome video. The alpine high country roads is some of the best riding in Australia. Appreciate the time you took to put this together.👍
Thanks for the feedback. Agreed, it's an outstanding location for riding. So many good roads. So little traffic too :)
