Damn all the fairings I’ve ever installed just kind of clipped on the forks with hardware. A little bit more entailed with this one ☝️
Little bit, but still pretty easy to go naked if need be. Just the two screws on the headlight and bracket under. I think it’s on and off in under 5 minutes

Hey i wanna do this on my 650rs but not sure about the dimensions. Obviously the 900 is a bigger bike but are the headlight the same size? Its so hard to find anything for the 650

Where can I buy this fairing from I have the same bike
I don't know if you will see this post (shadow banded). My question is I do not like the fairing on the cafe, if I took it off would it look just like the standard Z900rs or is there brackets I would have to take off, or even cut off. It seems like there are a lot of used cafe's for sale and I don't want to buy one if I can't take it off and have it look like the standard. The only standard z900rs seem to be new if I can get a cafe for half the price and look almost like the other by taking off the fairing I would do it. Thanks
Ya know I’m not sure. I know there is some bracket stuff but I feel it could easily be removed. I’d search around for pictures of it removed and see if you see anything. Or find a picture from like a Haynes manual it might have the diagram.

Where could I buy this nice fairing?
Since it doesn't clamp to the forks I'm assuming that should fit the z650rs too? Especially if they have the same dimensions for the headlight and turn signals.
Someone else who had the 650 said the headlight housing wasn’t the exact same so can’t confirm sorry.
I’ve been curious if this would fit the z650rs. I highly doubt now after watching your video because my brake reservoir is different.
I’ve heard the headlight housing is quite different. Give it time I bet comet will put out something
Has anyone done this on Z650RS? I can’t open the headlamp assembly & I’ve already removed the two hex screws
Hey angel. Removing the two small hexes on the the underside should pop the chrome trim off. To access the inside of the housing you’ll need to remove the four Phillips screws to get access to the nut behind the housing. (Basing this all off the pictures I see on internet for the 650)
@@ChopperFett per the parts diagram I think mine is slightly different but I think it’s still supposed to come apart after removing the two hex screws. It’s not budging & I don’t want to try too hard since it’s all plastic.
