That damn Z900RS is at the moment the bike I want. I am about to purchase a Zephyr 1100, the predecessor as my first bike after 13 years of not riding 😅 but in a year or two I want to get my hands on that beauty. @imsgoalie1 2 ปีที่แล้ว

God damn it Spite, you don't need backpressure. That's not how it works. The reason exhausts that have more back pressure tend to make more torque is that they also tend to have better scavenging at lower RPM. It's a wave pulse timing thing, not a flow thing. Runner length and diameter both affect wave propagation speed, and how long it takes pulses to propagate to the collector and back up other header tubes is optimized at lower rpm by factors that also tend to increase backpressure.

Soundwise I prefer V2 and V4 over anything else. I think the classic inline 4 sound is really aggressive and therefore cool but it also gets annoying pretty fast.

First do not reply to text me it's a scammer.
But IMHO the best sounding bike I've ever owned was a 1993 Yamaha V-Max with a Kerker headers and can.
Similar to a 327 Corvette with side pipes.
      Cheers

delkevic headers with stock can is not very loud. I don't think there is much of a baffle in the stock muffler.

Cannot compare that with a Mt09 but more with the speed twin and the R nine t, sold my 2014 Mt09 with the new Z900rs café and yes it’s not the same hooligan bike but with good mods this can compete with naked.

With removing the OEM Exhaust entirely, installing the loe vince exhaust. What did you do with the O2 Sensor?
    How do you run catyles?
What did you do when the ECU Threw an emissions fault code?

I'm thinking about buying a Z700RS. I can't tell from Kaw's site if the wheels are spoked. Are those spoked or faux spokes? Spoke maintenance is a deal breaker.

I want more noise and power from my Z900RS than the stock exhaust is giving me but I don’t wanna be “that guy” as they mentioned in the video about being super loud. Would it be any less loud if I did aftermarket headers and the stock can? Anyone with any advice on how to get somewhere between sewing machine and diesel truck with open headers while eliminating the bread box, I would greatly appreciate the info

Mine came from the dealer with an aprokovic 4-2-1 header, but retained the stock can. Sounds very similar to the video.

All the muffling is from the bread box, so you’re stuck with it if you don’t want it too loud. The actual Kawasaki muffler does very little muffling, same as the aftermarket mufflers.

do you remember what that rear stand you're using is? i have a rebel 500, and finding a stand that doesn't bump into the exhaust is a PITA, and yours looks perfect for what I need.
