Danke für die schönen Bilder. Die wecken viele, viele Erinnerungen in mir wach. Bis vor 17 Jahren lebte ich mit meiner Frau als Doku-Filmer für 5 Jahre in der Gegend. Ich bin Kameramann und filmte täglich für 5 Jahre für mehrere Doku-Kanäle. Meine Programme wurden in USA und Europa im Fernsehen gezeigt. Was für ein Erlebnis zu sehen was sich die letzten 17 Jahre alles verändert hat. Als wir, meine Frau und ich das Land verließen, wurde gerade mit dem Bau der Straßenbahn in Jerusalem begonnen. As a frequent visitor to Jerusalem, I am usually familiar with the areas you walk through. But the archaeological dig you featured early in your video is new to me. It would be helpful for people to know where it is situated. I notice several people who have never visited Jerusalem, place comments about the lack of captions to explain what they are seeing on their screens. The site is obviously open to visitors as there was a party of schoolchildren in attendance, and a sign explaining rules to be obeyed when visiting the site.

The archaeology is fantastic!! Sadly, the dig my wife and I have been with since 2011 in Galilee wrapped up it's last season this summer, we won't be coming back, will miss Israel and Jordan very much!!! 😢 So glad to still "being there" with your videos, Dima!! ❤

It's at the Kotel, as you go through security and down the steps about 20mtres ahead of you on the left is the entrance where the tours are to the excavations under the ancient city, it's open to everyone. My Grandmother on my father's side was Norwegian, Israel really is a special place keep well.
This is an amazing tour. You were under the plaza at the Western Wall. The whole area west of the Temple was used as a garbage dump for two thousand years. The Second Temple streets are now up to 50 feet underground. I am amazed at the archeology under the current plaza. I hope they will start providing narrated tours soon.
