It sucks because almost every hd rockstar game has had a storymode dlc. From the south central dlc for midnight club to the balled of gay tony and the lost and the damned the story mode dlc has always been amazing. Its a shame we'll likely never see it again.

And it got shut down when Rockstar saw the millions of shark card revenue every week. This has continued for 10 years. Hence why we have no RDR2 dlc or online updates and no GTA V dlc. As much as I hate Rockstar, let's look at it from money perspective. If you were making millions from kids buying shark card every week, you'd prioritise that cash cow because it's easy money. The Undead Nightmare game was amazing. Making something like this in GTA with online aspects like a surviving squad of gang members or soldiers be so mutch fun.
Gta online zombies wouldn't be fun at all, the point is seeing your favorite characters, locations, and your own single player character you grew with while playing the campaign in a zombie situation. Imagine the interactions or seeing a character like Lester eaten cause he couldn't escape and like he's calling you while a zombie is trying to get in so you rush there and have to kill a few off knowing that door is open
I think the reason all these assets are found by data miners so often is because Devs that are passionate about creating these ideas leave them as clues. Whereas TakeTwo CEO’s who only want to milk ONLINE make the decisions. Maybe the devs leave them assets to be found so fans ask for these projects enough for TakeTwo to agree

They are flipping old data and the strings some people find are bunch of nothing ... most fake clickbait too. They are not DLC content, they are simple mission scripts that can anyone create in less then 30 minutes of work ... Sure, it would have been nice to see some DLC for offline, but from a business perspective, it wasn’t a profitable route. People keep coming back to online, keep buying Shark Cards (especially since Rockstar sells items for ridiculous prices … I mean come on, $30,000+ pants and shirts?), plus they added GTA+. Regardless of what they could have done with offline DLC, once you buy the DLC, you beat it, then you’re done. GTA Online is much simpler to add content to, and therefore, will keep most players entertained until GTA VI drops - and beyond - until they drop support.

And seeing how GTA IV got two fairly substantial story mode DLCs (The Ballad Of Gay Tony and The Lost And The Damned) I was a bit miffed GTA V never got the same treatment - Agent Trevor sounds like it could have been fun. But I guess the allure of easy money from online content was too much to resist for R*.

I was so excited for Agent and I really hoped that game would see the light of day on PS3…and then PS4…and then PS5 but by the PS5, I had pretty much forgotten about it. I always figured that Agent could have been Rockstar’s take on the show Archer *(one of my favorite shows)* by developing a serious world and storyline for the game but also implementing GTA humor and subtleties into it. Oh, well.
I remember as a kid there were mods for GTA Vice City and San Andreas that allowed for a zombie apocalypse storyline and online play respectively. It was fun, you could do so many more things than they'd allowed in the game until recently.
I am also sure that they have cancelled GTA VI few times at some point in time in favour of GTA Online. For other games it's sad that we never got Oni 2, or DLC for GTA V/Red Dead Redemption 2.

Me neither. The only zombie games from Rockstar or even mods from the community I heard of was the zombie mod for GTA V, created by the community and Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare, created by Rockstar.
All of this being reduced to lazily simplified GTA Online content is awful. It should've been finished as those singleplayer episodes and THEN adapted to GTA Online content.
The idea of Rockstar working on anything other than GTA sounds insane. RDR2 felt a bit random in terms of announcement but ended up being a masterpiece but also felt like RS didn't even wanna do it. I would love to see a new Bully, or even Max Payne, but I seriously believe that it will never happen.
I would have loved gta 3 to have an online multiplayer mode it would have been fun and its sad they cancelled it and ZTA would have be more like an open world of the walking dead and Bully 2 would have been a banger game and we might see these games in the future if they were to be released

I bought GTA5 originally on the ps3, Then when the ps4 came out I bought that version because I wanted to try out the first person mode. I have never once played GTA online or payed into micro transactions. I bought a game to play a game and be blown away. I’ve always wanted a gta open world style zombie game. Have different human groups all over the “city” some good some bad, infected, all kinds of items and vehicles, buildings, ect. It would be dope af if done right. Imagine if campaign was done online too and in the city were other groups of real life players playing their own campaign who could interfere and jack your shift while you’re playing as well.
The alien invasion episode with Michael is in GTA V, it’s a Strangers and Freaks mission in the park downtown Los Santos. Michael is drugged and hallucinates an alien invasion and you have to kill all the aliens with the mini gun. I haven’t played all the Strangers and Freaks missions so maybe Franklin and the Zombies and Agent Trevor are in there as well
while i would love to replay RDR1 i would prefer a remake over a remaster. just upscaling the graphics is not that great usually depending how old the original is. thats the reason why i never play the remastered GTA games. but it they really put a lot of work into the graphics with new object models and stuff it might work. but will they?
Rockstar really needs a alien themed DLC that’s heavy on conspiracies theories actually being true. They’ve always toyed with aliens, conspiracies, cults, weird websites, just weird stuff in general. It was fun trying to find Easter eggs and watching all the TH-cam videos on that stuff over the years. Imagine a game where GTA just gets into it and lets the missions get real weird: maybe there’s even some kind of twist. “The Truth” could even make an appearance at some point (I know characters from different universes in gta don’t cross but for the sake of a conspiracy game, why not lol). It’d be SO. FUN. Driving a UFO, shooting aliens. Finding their clues and seeing just how integrated they are in the GTA Lore.
Oni 2 got killed off because Rockstar had at the time fully acquired Angel from Capcom and wanted them to focus on Red Dead Revolver. Which they originally developed for Capcom. Unfortunate too. Oni is a good game if you avoid the PS2 version.
I'm gonna blame the cancellations of this games on GTA V Online, yes, even the Sega Saturn and Nintendo 64 ports of the first GTA got cancelled because of GTA V Online (don't find logic into this, i'm still upset we never got Bully 2, ok?)

I’ll only purchase either a remaster/remake of GTA IV or Red Dead Redemption as long as Rockstar doesn’t allow Grove Street Games to develop them. They suck great magnitudes of balls and should never be allowed to remaster anything let alone those two franchises as revered as Grand Theft Auto and Red Dead Redemption.

All of this being reduced to lazily simplified GTA Online content is awful. It should've been finished as those singleplayer episodes and THEN adapted to GTA Online content.
The idea of Rockstar working on anything other than GTA sounds insane. RDR2 felt a bit random in terms of announcement but ended up being a masterpiece but also felt like RS didn't even wanna do it.
I would love to see a new Bully, or even Max Payne, but I seriously believe that it will never happen.

I bought GTA5 originally on the ps3, Then when the ps4 came out I bought that version because I wanted to try out the first person mode. I have never once played GTA online or payed into micro transactions. I bought a game to play a game and be blown away. Besides the only unreal and quake dates of yesteryear that could be played for free and competitively on (mostly) equal grounds, I gave up on this loot heist shit a long time ago. Give me GTA6 Rockstar! with 60 hours of story content!

I’ve always wanted a gta open world style zombie game. Have different human groups all over the “city” some good some bad, infected, all kinds of items and vehicles, buildings, ect. It would be dope af if done right.
Imagine if campaign was done online too and in the city were other groups of real life players playing their own campaign who could interfere and jack your shift while you’re playing as well.

More and more, Rockstar is trying to outdo Ubisoft when it comes to disappointing their base with cut content and games.
There are so many cancelled games out there the list is endless. Not just with Rockstar games.

Michael is drugged and hallucinates an alien invasion and you have to kill all the aliens with the mini gun. I haven’t played all the Strangers and Freaks missions so maybe Franklin and the Zombies and Agent Trevor are in there as well
GTA VI, Bully 2, GTA IV remaster, RDR remaster, and Manhunt 3 are my top 5 Rockstar dream releases. At least I KNOW GTA VI will for sure release.
while i would love to replay RDR1 i would prefer a remake over a remaster. just upscaling the graphics is not that great usually depending how old the original is. thats the reason why i never play the remastered GTA games. but it they really put a lot of work into the graphics with new object models and stuff it might work. but will they?

Rockstar really needs a alien themed DLC that’s heavy on conspiracies theories actually being true.
They’ve always toyed with aliens, conspiracies, cults, weird websites, just weird stuff in general. It was fun trying to find Easter eggs and watching all the TH-cam videos on that stuff over the years.
Imagine a game where GTA just gets into it and lets the missions get real weird: maybe there’s even some kind of twist.
“The Truth” could even make an appearance at some point (I know characters from different universes in gta don’t cross but for the sake of a conspiracy game, why not lol).
It’d be SO. FUN. Driving a UFO, shooting aliens. Finding their clues and seeing just how integrated they are in the GTA Lore.

Oni 2 got killed off because Rockstar had at the time fully acquired Angel from Capcom and wanted them to focus on Red Dead Revolver. Which they originally developed for Capcom. Unfortunate too. Oni is a good game if you avoid the PS2 version.
I'm gonna blame the cancellations of this games on GTA V Online, yes, even the Sega Saturn and Nintendo 64 ports of the first GTA got cancelled because of GTA V Online

When we was waiting 4 gta 4 release we was playing San Andreas online like crazy, like servers were booming.
When we was waiting for the release of gta 5 gta 4 official servers were full of active players….
Now we are waiting for gta 6, almost nobody play gta 5 online….that’s a fact, as another fact is that multiple kids generation lost the unique experience to grow up witnessing the exit of a new GTA, my cousin was 8 when gta 5 came out, he be playing for a couple of years, now he is 18 and still haven’t lived the excitement of a new gta in his teen life, and this is gonna be lost for ever for his life….when me, in my teen, I witness at least 4 different gta came out…
