Welcome back to another video! I hope you enjoyed watching! See you next time :))) Keep up with me: / demiproudmann Music is from: www.epidemicsound.com/music/f... x
It is important to remember that whole foods have their place but when you are in recovery ANY food is healthier than the ED is so if it is a choice between the two, always go for the food no matter the ingredients.
I absolutely don't think that was enough oil or cheese but I'm so proud of you for challenging yourself :) also what you said about the importance of whole foods is definitely not the same for someone with a restrictive eating disorder, I struggle with only eating foods that have few/ recognizable ingredients and are organic, etc. but I've also realized that it's restricting my diet and therefore obeying my eating disorder in a way
Just remember that challenging yourself, eating what you want, and eating what scares you, isn't 'letting go' but rather TAKING CONTROL of your life again and taking control from your eating disorder! And yeah, I am sure you are aware of this but just be careful about the fixation on ingredients/wholefoods and that it isn't just another sneaky way of your disorder taking over - you don't want it to become another set of rules you have to follow, or turn into orthorexia or another form of restriction!
That’s so true and such a better way of framing it 🙌🏼 it really is taking back control of life! Also very true words, thank you for the comment. It’s definitely important to notice thoughts and behaviours surrounding this!
I made your chocolate nut bar(minus the coconut)and it was absolutely gorgeous 😊 not sure what chocolate you used, but would highly recommend dark baking chocolate. Its not only more budget friendly, its much lower in sugar than other dark chocolate. It also doesn’t have any palm oil in it. I've got to make another one today as my husband & kids stole most of it lol. 😂 Thanks for the recipe X
Awww thankyou so much!! This has made me so happy reading this, im so glad you and your family enjoyed it ❤its soooo tasty I need to make more too hahaha 😆 dark chocolate is the best i used dark toooo 👌🏼 x

Hey Demi. You’re right when you say the hyper fixation on food is probably a sign of malnourishment and your brain trying to redirect your attention or direct it towards food. I know for me, when I start to fixate on food, it’s likely a sign of restriction. You seem to be doing all you can to nourish yourself so I cannot give you any advice in that respect. I hope things improve for you in your journey and I hope one day you will be able to look back on all these videos and see how far you have come. Keep going. The person you will most need to be accountable and honest with in this journey is yourself but whenever you can get others to help you on your journey, do that.
Wow, you seem so determined now and eating good quality food.I hope you do allow yourself to gain some weight, I think you will be even prettier with a little more shape and flesh you.... hope you don't mind me saying that 🎉
Thankyou so much! I’m so determined I have had enough of missing out on life, it’s going to be hard but going to try my hardest to keep this momentum going 🙌🏼

Your right very true words and important to remember and not let the ed voice convince you different 🙌🏼

Awesome video Demi, good for you for not listening to the voices in your head, you always look beautiful too.
Thankyou so much :)
You're welcome.@@Demiproudman
Not sure if saying to someone with an ED that they "always look beautiful" is a good thing to say.
I'm just catching up with your vlog today sweetheart as once again I've been asleep 😴 all day long with this horrible under active thyroid disease Xxx
Take care of yourself lovely hope your feeling better ❤️
Can I just ask how many years you have been in ed recovery on and off and has it been going on since you were 15?💗
I’ve been in recovery since I was sectioned last September so it’s been almost 7 months now 🩷
Where you admitted to hospitals when you were a teenager on and off or did you not get help when you were younger?
@@ChloeSinclair-jt5kj noo, struggled when i was younger for years on my own it was never as severe as the last 2 years have been for me. I only opened up about my struggles when i turned 22
Oh right sorry for asking and if it came across as rude I just wanted to know about your journey with anorexia I apologise.❤️

Do you have any pets? :)

I know this is just my opinion but I noticed most/ all of your stuff is organic - I would speak to your therapist but it seems a bit orthorexic
