I was very pleased to see Xenoblade Chronicles continue the tradition of having a beautiful vocalist track at the end of the game (like Xeongears and Xenosaga). It always proves to be some of the most memorable music in their respective games. :)
Would love to re-play the game. Unfortunately, there is ZERO chance I am setting up a Wii, Wii U, or playing it on a 3DS. Maybe when Nintendo makes a real console with simple controllers for casuals again.
This song is actually the reason I played through this game. My friend sent it to me and it made me want to experience the whole story to hear it again. Was completely worth it.
oh man this one just...it broke me so hard, and it's little to say it, I didn't even want to live in this world anymore I was fcking empty and didn't who I was or what to think...and it went on for days after I finished the game... P3 man, the more I think about it the more I find this game perfect, at least every impression this game left to me was perfect, even the least memorable soundtrack from it (talking about P3 if some of you didn't get it^^)
I was speechless until I saw the Colonel at the end, still barking orders. I laughed because I like him, and then I started crying because of it. Truly an emotional game.

I quite literally, cried at the ending accompanying this song, not tears of sadness, but tears of genuine joy. playing this game was an experience, an experience like no other that took over 100 hours to beat, and I've been playing since October 31 2014, (yep I literally got this game on Halloween) and it was worth every hour. When I started this game, I did not expect it to have such an epic epilogue like this. In a way, I feel like I changed a lot while playing through this game along with shulk, there is so much to do, so much to explore, and so much to experience. The reason I cried is because of how far shulk has come on this massive journey and now it has all come full circle and fiora is not only back with shulk, but has also been restored as a Homs. And the thought of that really made me happy, with every member of the party now living their lives happily, especially after all they had gone through. Reyn. Fiora. Dunban. Sharla. Melia. Riki. And most important of all shulk. Every character my party felt like an actual family rather than a bunch of random people thrown together by circumstance and you start to feel what these characters feel, and that is something that's going to be hard to replicate. I would ask for a sequel or a prequel, but I don't think this game needs either of those. This game alone stands on its own as a masterpiece. While what I've seen from the spiritual successor to this game. Xenoblade chronicles x, I haven't seen anything standout yet, but that's exactly how I felt when first looking at this game, and well look at me now. I am also downright amazed and glad that this game is also getting a 3ds remake , the fact that they are fitting a game this huge on a simple cartridge downright baffles me, plus it also means that more people will get to experience this game. Yeah some people may not have the same experience as I had, but it is still something that I recommend any fan of jrpgs to at the very least give a shot. Now that I'm back from my tangent, This song is now my favorite song in the game. And this game.......xenoblade chronicles......is now my favorite game of all time. But it was done in such a way I have never seen and it all felt so genuine because while not everyone is a blood relation, I considered them a family. And yes I did tear up when I watched that scene.
I ended this game 3 years ago, but i still know that THIS is my favourite game ever. And i hope it will be forever. I had a little tear while listening to this... it is so full of memories.

The story for this masterpiece was truly phenomenal. Xenoblade Chronicles, despite me not owning the game, I absolutely love the game, the story can make you cry, laugh, or even make you angry, most games today just want you to run in a liner path and do one thing, Xenoblade isn't like that, this game gives you an experience an RPG has never done. This song proves that every video game, despite it's dark tone, can show happiness, (this song shows Fiora/Meyneth being happy to see a loved one, Maybe Shulk, or maybe somebody else,) but overall, this song is just amazing, and I'm glad this game was made and ported to where we can play it and have it. I'm always looking for this game everywhere, (If you have a good deal on it, message me sometime :p)

Oh yea i was totally heartbroken when fiora died. It was such a shock. I probably would have been divistated a lot longer than i was if i hadn't discovered there was "invisible" armors (Reyn, unf). Part of me wishes I didn't watch Chuggaaconroy's playthrough of this and experienced this game for myself. But if I didn't watch Chuggaa's playthrough, I probably never would have gotten this game, so it's a good thing I watched his playthrough. (Technically, I don't own a copy, but I have it on my Amazon wish list.) Edit: 2 months later, and I have a 3ds copy.
I am so glad I experienced it for myself. I found it at a store and was like "this looks cool" and I payed attention to the story as well. It was smart of me to do that, because I found the greatest game I have ever played story wise. It is a true masterpiece that people to notice and take seriously. This song reflects xenoblade perfectly in one final, and elegant song.
I watched a couple episodes of chugga's LP before buying the game. I was interested in it beforehand but the game is always so expensive that I didn't want to shell out the money until I saw his series and decided I wanted to experience it for myself. Boy am I glad I did

That's what Xenosaga was supposed to lead up to. Xenogears is listed as Episode 5 in its ending credits. Xenosaga was supposed to lead up to Xenogears. It's even hinted in Xenosaga 3's ending when you see a planet that looks like the planet from Xenogears' world in the ending. [It even has the ring around the planet] Nephilim and Abel are supposed to be Elly and Fei in a past life, if you remember Xenogears mentions Fei's past lives as Abel and Lacan before being reborn as Fei.

Beat this game June 25th 2015 bought this game and the new 3ds on May 7th played the game the day I bought it and it took me about 35 attempts to beat the final boss
Maybe not a direct sequel, as that might destroy the message that the future is not written in stone. A sequel would be the future, written and unchangeable. A spiritual sequel with the same game play would probably be better.
I agree. Xenosaga III may have been the "end" - not to mention a HUGE improvement over II - but there's too much left to have let the series end. Pity a continuation will probably never happen, though - we have Namco and their ridiculousness to thank for that.

@JustDanceWorld I've already finished the main game, now I'm playing it again on new game plus and trying to complete all the side quests including rebuilding Colony 6 and getting all the achievements but it's a lot of work. I've already spent over 150 hours with the game and I'm far from done xD

I got both English and Japanese versions of the game. I have beaten it in the English version a few times and it was satisfying to beat Zanza. Once this song came, I couldn’t help, but joined in to sing.
Can't be Mechons made peace. The 3 people are Zanza, Dickson and Metal Face. It's a real shame how two of Dunban's closest friends just betrayed him. With one who wants him dead even while they were friends and the other who Dunban thought was really his true friend only to betray him later on and only pretending to be his friend at the beginning.

GalaxyLdragoX Dude, some gamestops still have a few copies left. I just bought a copy last night and its like it was not even a used copy. The disk is clean as hell and the guide is still in it. There may be a few left at your local gamestop. Just check there website and look on there map. Its better then paying $100 on amazon for a copy :)

Friends of mine don't play Xenoblade. they said that it's expensive and not worth it. They play PS games because they can download free games and they are quite good like Minecraft. If they ask me why do you like stupid companies for kids? Most of them is quite stupid anyway! I would always answer 'It is... Beyond complicated..' The memories of this game or other games(Like Pokemon and Fire Emblem) will never be washed away. The memories will stay in my heart--My Pokemons and their journey, Shulk and Fiora's story, the serious game about war and betrayal---, always...
This game is tied closely with Chrono Trigger and the Portal games for being my favorite games of all time. All three are too good to exist, and everyone involved in making them should be held to the highest respect.
Don't be so sure. Tetsuya Takahashi's (the Xeno series' creator) next game sounds like it's going to be something special. Xenoblade was just a TRIAL RUN for his next game.

@zicler I played them all as well (several times xD). The best series ever created! I like Saga best 'cos it has the best story and characters I've ever seen. Xenogears is great too, most likely the best ps1 RPG, but it wasn't as emotional as the others. And Xenoblade....well, absolutely everything about it is just stunning and no other game comes close. It's nothing less than a masterpiece. But Saga has a very special place in my heart and it will always be the best:)

Part of me wishes I didn't watch Chuggaaconroy's playthrough of this and experienced this game for myself. But if I didn't watch Chuggaa's playthrough, I probably never would have gotten this game, so it's a good thing I watched his playthrough. (Technically, I don't own a copy, but I have it on my Amazon wish list.)

I am so glad I experienced it for myself. I found it at a store and was like "this looks cool" and I payed attention to the story as well. It was smart of me to do that, because I found the greatest game I have ever played story wise. It is a true masterpiece that people to notice and take seriously. This song reflects xenoblade perfectly in one final, and elegant song.

That's what Xenosaga was supposed to lead up to. Xenogears is listed as Episode 5 in its ending credits. Xenosaga was supposed to lead up to Xenogears. It's even hinted in Xenosaga 3's ending when you see a planet that looks like the planet from Xenogears' world in the ending. [It even has the ring around the planet]
Nephilim and Abel are supposed to be Elly and Fei in a past life, if you remember Xenogears mentions Fei's past lives as Abel and Lacan before being reborn as Fei.

by the way: i grew up with nintendo since nes famicon times: there was a time (nes snes n64 gamecube) when nintendos consoles were great, but nowadays its just ridiculous if you see them: every cheap smartphone can display better graphics than 3ds: yet still so many talented developers are forced to develope for this piece of electronic junk

Beat this game June 25th 2015 bought this game and the new 3ds on May 7th played the game the day I bought it and it took me about 35 attempts to beat the final boss

Maybe not a direct sequel, as that might destroy the message that the future is not written in stone. A sequel would be the future, written and unchangeable. A spiritual sequel with the same game play would probably be better.

I agree. Xenosaga III may have been the "end" - not to mention a HUGE improvement over II - but there's too much left to have let the series end. Pity a continuation will probably never happen, though - we have Namco and their ridiculousness to thank for that.

I've already finished the main game, now I'm playing it again on new game plus and trying to complete all the side quests including rebuilding Colony 6 and getting all the achievements but it's a lot of work. I've already spent over 150 hours with the game and I'm far from done xD

I got both English and Japanese versions of the game. I have beaten it in the English version a few times and it was satisfying to beat Zanza. Once this song came, I couldn’t help, but joined in to sing.

With one who wants him dead even while they were friends and the other who Dunban thought was really his true friend only to betray him later on and only pretending to be his friend at the beginning.

GalaxyLdragoX Dude, some gamestops still have a few copies left. I just bought a copy last night and its like it was not even a used copy. The disk is clean as hell and the guide is still in it. There may be a few left at your local gamestop. Just check there website and look on there map. Its better then paying $100 on amazon for a copy :)

Friends of mine don't play Xenoblade. they said that it's expensive and not worth it. They play PS games because they can download free games and they are quite good like Minecraft. If they ask me why do you like stupid companies for kids? Most of them is quite stupid anyway! I would always answer 'It is... Beyond complicated..' The memories of this game or other games(Like Pokemon and Fire Emblem) will never be washed away. This game is tied closely with Chrono Trigger and the Portal games for being my favorite games of all time. All three are too good to exist, and everyone involved in making them should be held to the highest respect.

Have you played Xenogears (PS1) and Xenosaga (PS2) ? If not, I highly recommend to do so. They are also amazing RPGs! Xeno games are the best of all :)

I played them all as well (several times xD). The best series ever created! I like Saga best 'cos it has the best story and characters I've ever seen. Xenogears is great too, most likely the best ps1 RPG, but it wasn't as emotional as the others. And Xenoblade....well, absolutely everything about it is just stunning and no other game comes close. It's nothing less than a masterpiece. But Saga has a very special place in my heart and it will always be the best:)
