This is a little fan made music video for the ending theme of Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition; Beyond the Sky. Xenoblade might be my personal favorite game so far, and Beyond the Sky is probably my favorite song in general. It's because of this that I wanted to do a little something to show my love for the game, so I decided to edit this together using footage I captured. I hope you all enjoy, and thank you for watching.

The first time you play this game until the end you become a changed man. This game was truly an experience beyond the sky.
One of the greatest songs to ever close off a game, in my opinion. I'll never forget my first time finishing this game. That moment will always remain A Moment of Eternity.

It's seems unforgiving when the good things end, but the memories of those journey's will always be there.
@@AnalystAdam Memories will forever be a part of you. You might not remember something, and when replaying it, an event will trigger that memory you forgot. You can never truly relive the first time experience.
That's the main problem with this game. No matter how many times you play it, it's never as amazing as the first time. Although it may still take your breath away, stun you, or make you cry, you'll never feel the same way as the first time experiencing it.
@@accelerator4121 I'd say that's something of an issue with almost every single game. NieR: Automata, Xenoblade 2, and Final Fantasy VII Remake are three other games I deeply love, and I'm stunned each time I replay them, but nothing ever beats that first time experiencing the game as a whole. Yet, that's why I love the memories that are made the first time around, since they are that reminder of how remarkable the game experience truly was for you, and may be for another when they go through it for the first time.

Thank you so much! Yeah, it was a little hard figuring out which scenes to use considering it's trying to condense almost 10 hours worth of stuff to 4 minutes. Happened to me for all 3 main games, and there was even one moment close to the ending of X that was close to getting me. The stories and characters of these games are just so good!

So when Definitive Edition was announced, I knew right away I wanted to try and recreate it once it released, with a few different scenes at certain points. Your video was such a huge inspiration, and I still love it to this day. Thank you so much for creating it when you did all that time ago!

Final Fantasy is an 9iconic series but Xenoblade is the best JRPG
Both are great for their own respective reasons, but I'm with you, I like Xenoblade more!

Anyone coming back here after Xenoblade 3?
After finishing the game, and having enough time to collect my feelings on it, I think Beyond the Sky still remains my favorite ending theme. But my God, Where We Belong is so dang close to it! If it were somehow possible, Beyond the Sky and Where We Belong would both sit at number 1 for me. Every Xeno vocal theme is beautiful, but these two are just on another level for me personally.

I remember buying the Switch just to play this game--Xenoblade, and Witcher 3. After I completed them (Witcher 3 for the 2nd time), I didn't see any other game worth playing--not even Zelda series. Lol. So I sold the Switch.
In retrospect, Xenoblade is good, but NOT as best as Xenogears. The core concept of the two game is the same, but feels flat on Xenoblade--despite the much better graphics and much better story-telling technology. It even feels stale, to me.
And the music--oh boy, nothing yet can beat Xenogears in terms of music and soundtracks.
