@Shirotera 1601 dw6 wasn't really that bad given the context of being a complete overhaul for the franchise honestly. It was a steping stone and i will always say that dw 7 and 8 is dw 6 but truly polished. On one hand the game became better in many aspects like graphics, movements and whatnot, but got rid of many features that made dw interesting for me. Like 10 years old me played dw3 for the first time and i loved the sense of being in a battlefield seeing 2 armies fight each other. That is totally gone now, you are now truly a one solo army because besides being a demi-god, you don't have an army anymore (dw8). Just a bunch of officers following you around.
This is what would've happened if Sun Ce stayed alive. It pains me that he died in battle the way he did... however... Sun Quan did what he had to do for the sake of Wu... Dynasty Warriors is a great game and I will always play the series! Been playing since the very first one.

@Eastern Spy It could have been better without the clones but it's still not the worst in the series. Plus it had one of the best soundtracks in any Dynasty warriors game.
Zhou Yu is the my most favourite character from DW. He looks alot better from 2-5 and I miss his sword although he does have good moves on a staff. But I think Wu characters have to many sword wielders that's why they had to change him to a staff along with Gan Ning.

I though that may have happened. they now pronounce Cao Cao's name lie "Tsow Tsow" and not "Cow Cow" but I'd be lying if I said I didn't miss hearing a grown man and a warrior/leader no less being called "Cow Pee" xD
Hot take: i think Zhou Yu looked hideous in Dw6 & 7, but the staff moveset he has compensated for his design; it really brought out the Wushu martial arts I was looking for in this game.
I stop playing DW coz of the HUGE change they make to WU characters... Their appearances... their weapons... I HATE IT! I don't care if they wanna tweak other characters, but not WU! -_- My only consolation is that Zhou Yu still looks gorgeous. Thank goodness! *sighs*
DW5's much better...this one deviates from course of history way too much and the gameplay's better for DW5 as well.i guess that's what happens when a game is too graphic intensive

Zhou Yu' s voice actor for 6-8 is simply amazing, I think he's my favorite one out of all his voices.
I just realized that the animation in DW6 was even better than DW9. It looks elegant, natural and fluent.

He would quite be unfortunate of calling that, Cao Pi would really execute them.
