I genuinely want to hear from you about the research cited in the following books, especially given you are a pediatrician & an IBCLC. I had a lactation consultant recommend a book published by La Leche League International called “Sweet Sleep: Nighttime and Naptime Strategies for the Breastfeeding Family” after I was frustrated by continually falling asleep in the recliner while breastfeeding my firstborn at night. I had trouble staying awake to put her back in her crib while we were sleepy but awake. The other book that references research is called “The Womanly Art of Breastfeeding, 8th Edition” (supposedly a new book coming in 2024 called The Art of Breastfeeding.”
