Hello, should we write 300 words limit sop for college admission or follow old SOP sample with more than 5-7 pages ?

I am following you after seeing your extensive tips on how to get into various U.S and U.K. universities. l
I am an international Undergraduate Transfer applicant of 2023 from India. Some of the reach schools on my list are Stanford and Harvard.
1)Coming from a state board curriculum with enough EC's in the school campus but not beyond that, do you think I should also apply to regular decision of these colleges before my transfer application to maximize chances of getting in?
2)Or do you think it will be difficult to show enough growth from a Dec application for Reg.Decision vs March application for Transfer decision ?
3)Will admission officer see this as a lack of confidence?
