always good to see people doing it right and not listening to the internet. good stuff AJ
Thank you so much for braking this down. Not only that but the books are extremely helpful, THANK YOU 🙏
OMG these are the exact types of books im looking for! Thank you!
Great video, seeing theory on a whiteboard with no focus is cool, seeing people "test and tune" (guess and check) is cool, but seeing someone have a real car to back up their calculations when trying to do things the correct, and repeatable, understand-what-the-changes-affect, way is the best. Really appreciate this series man.
Hit me back about my inquiry on you site
Good info! Keep up the good work!
Solid video! Love the book recommendations na d real time demonstration of the maths required.
I think it would be cool to have a video that demonstrates the difference with and without wheel spacers for motion ratio.
Good info!
Don't forget the brake fluid.
which app did you use in finding the correction factor?
Great video! I kept rewinding it to make sure I understood the concepts all the way. I have a 2014 mustang with the solid axle, would you recommend the Chassis Engineering book?
Yes
Hello i have utv 1900kg witch unimog axles . I want make a 4 link with king or profender coliovers 14-16 inch . Front axles with whels are 350kg and rear axles with whels are 325kg .
Front weight are 52% -988kg, rear are 48%-912 kg . What coils rate will be good for front and rear ? thanks for the answer
Did this just become Engineering Explained?🤣
Chris Bouchard he has some good stuff. Did he do one on this topic?
I think he did. I found his channel when I was at WyoTech, learned more from Jason than I did from a 30k tech school
Not at this level. No one makes content as this, based on real world data.
Hey AJ, im making a flat floor for my car this weekend and im struggling to decide how far out the side splitter's should go, is there a general rule to follow?
As wide as rules allow.
I thought you had #400 springs in the rear with the solid axel?
Sal Molinare now you are making me double think. You may be right. But regardless the math is still right. I’ll look at my old springs today.
@@ajhartmanaero In the springs and splitter video you went from #300's to #400's. I was just wondering if you had gone up to #450's after some testing.
Doesn’t seem stiff enough to me. Your running that much on the front aren’t you?
I have 850s on the front. I know some people run stiffer on S550’s on a Coilovers, and much stiffer if in the conventional location, and you may be correct that 800’s might be a little soft, but I’m also much lighter than an S550 as well.
@@ajhartmanaero Springs and splitter video had you installing #750's in front....did you spring up since then?
