Appreciate the video but as a dyed in the wool PVE'er I have not spent a single moment in Cyrodiil. I spent a few rounds in battlegrounds but there is simply no joy to be had when you spend more time staring at the death recap screen than you do playing. I have been playing for about a year and have seen all the videos about PvP sets and the rest so I once again ventured into battlegrounds this event. PvPing is almost as physically driving a nail into my eye and just about as much fun.
But I always enjoy watching videos where PvPers attempt to lure us PvE players in. The video was fine enough but not quite good enough to get me into Cyrodiil. Success to your channel!!

      Thank you!
I fully understand your perspective. I've tried PvP here and there, but I'm no PvP expert. The goal of the video is how to benefit from the double AP gain without succumbing to masochism ;)
+100% AP bonus allows cutting in half the time spent on disliked activities.
It's both interesting and sad at the same time that there is such a divide in the ESO player base between PvE and PvP.

I've never exactly enjoyed PvP either, but there are some AW skills that are really useful in PvE. Sets you can buy of course... I bought most of mine.
The first thing I learned about battlegrounds (and all PvP) is that everyone dies a lot and ut doesn't matter. Just run around, get involved and embrace the death monochrome view...

Dying every day in battlegrounds is better for sheer levelling - annoying but guaranteed and you don't have to gallop around being lost. In Cyrodiil it's far better to just find the main battle group and run with them than mending. Be in on 3 or 4 objectives when taken and you'll get reward tier one - 50 transmutes at the end of the month. It's worth perservering to level 7 AW skill line for the Flare damage reduction slottable (this is the last one that's relevant for PvE). Finally - a lot of PvE players just do Cyrodiil for tier one rewards then drop out. Leave a new campaign for a week or so and you'll be running with better organised and more PvP specific battle groups, which will make your life a lot easier. You will of course need a fast mount to keep up.

I agree. That is what I personally do when leveling new characters. Running around with a ball group in Cyro, spamming AoE healing skills is incredibly easy and yields AP fast enough to get campaign rewards in under 1hr. And low-level battlegrounds are IMHO best PvP experience in the game ;)
But a not-so-small number of players just hate PvP altogether and will never even set foot in Cyro/IC/BG

@@KhavsGaming Sure. Personally I can't say I enjoy Cyrodiil but I like the concept of sieging castles enough to get something out of it. Forgot to mention - you probably know this but maybe others don't - sometimes the players logged into your faction just aren't very good and it isn't happening. Log out and come back later.

True, sieging a castle made a big impression on me when I saw it the first time. That part is very different from the rest of the game.
All battles and sieges in overland zone quests are very underwhelming or happen entirely off screen. And then you go into Cyro and see big engagements with siege engines. Although after 10 years it could use some improvements.

Bgs arnt that bad 7k a loss is better then taking farm flags and you don't have to horse it to then next flag.

      BGs certainly has more action.

Step out of your comfort zone and legitimately try pvp. Just copy someones pvp build, join a pvp guild, and then go out there and have fun.
I personally have more fun solo ganking, but if you want to earn more points, it's best to roam with an organized group.
Yes, you are going to die, and yes, your corpse is going to be teabagged. But once you get the hang of it, it's a lot of fun.
Idk why I was recommended this video, but I'll leave a comment here in hopes to push people in the right direction.

That is good, honest advice. Thank you for posting it.
