As a daily TOT player I would actually drop it down to D tier. Aside from the tier rewards, like you covered, the matches can be long and there is no guarantee you will win as well.
While running around doing quests grab torchbugs, kill mudcrabs and grab butterflies. I listed them in most to least valuable, to my knowledge bots don't farm them and are always needed. There are better ways to make gold (usually depending on market) but it's steady and can be done in the background from day one.
My favourite gold making method is the Jubilee Event, I have made over 100 million gold from this event over the years. I have around 200 motif pages in my personal guild bank to sell, 4 aetherial dust plus dragon rheum etc just from this year's event. I have had 2 gold full motif books in the past, 1 sold for 20.5 mill the other 28 mill (PC EU prices).
a mix of different things has made me very wealthy in eso, daily zone quests (motifs!), selling crafting mats, fishing, items/motifs bought with AP and selling things bought with writ vouchers (!!), playing multiple characters is also a game changer (more crafting mats and all the boxes during the anniversary event!) and of course being in a good trade guild to sell all these things.. having different forms of revenue also prevents me from burning out and I always go hard during events (more people buy stuff, bonus loot/exp) and have breaks or chill with story content in between. since the last event ive been saving the good stuff for when gold road comes out
Thanks for the video Jake 🙂LOL, it's Pyandonea motfis my friend. About rare item farming. I've gotten to the point where I just want these items. Only to be able to say I've collected them. Examples are the nosebleed valuable dwarven and ayleid plans.
Buy Bal Foyen and Bleakrock maps in traders for 200 to 500 gold. Take the trainee gear from the dug up chests and sell them for 10 to 20k. Easy 1 to 2 day flip.
To me, rare item farming isn't bad...if you're farming something like your example, the mushroom, that allows you to farm other items. There's a LOT of stuff in that zone that sells well. Hit every harvest node, chest, and thieve trove while you're hunting for that mushroom and you will make a profit. It might not be the same ROI as other methods in other zones, but...bone mold resin, alone, is something I farm because you need it for that cute little turtle jewelry box that is worth a MINT, at least on PCNA. Also, for PCNA, there's more value in theft than you think. I mean, yes, of course, new zone patterns are high value. 100% a great gold strat on drop day is get into that nice farming zone and go at it. But also, especially as a side benefit of training the skill tree, you get a lot of _water_ . And water, on PCNA, especially in the tiers where you need them for mass-leveling alchemy, sells for three to six hundred per, depending on the tier. So if you set up properly for it, Getting your daily "just going to boost my new toon's force lock skill" pile can actually net you potentially thousands, maybe even tens of thousands of gold in water per day. Is it the BEST option? Absolutely not, is it worth prioritizing specific higher value items, like water, over trash, like style materials? Yes.
Gambling, if you do it correctly. Had an Engine Guardian "Red Blue Green" gambling guild once. Earned a couple mil over the course of a handful of isolated weekends, doing nothing but hours and hours straight of group gambling and raffling with player made minigames. It was basically an eso guild made into a small casino.
In addition to reliable gold, a bonus for daily crafting writs is NOT having to spend your gold on gold mats for your builds. While I can’t imagine doing 80 toons a day like your friend, I have 14 fully leveled crafters, and I do writs most days. I have more gold mats than I need even for experimental builds. And a ton of master writs. BTW, saving those master writs for 100% XP events combined with 150% XP scrolls will level you up much faster than anything I know of. Overall, I put daily crafting writs in like S+ tier because of the fringe benefits. OK, I admit it gets an F in fun-factor! Also, great list; I enjoyed it.

Made my 1st million as a crafter, mainly for pvp guilds, in the premorrowind days. 2nd mill was mainly thru farming gear on under50 chars and selling in daggerfall traders. Pre-stickerbook, people were thirsty for low lvl gear that was good sets. 3rd mill was mostly writs, on more accounts than i care to admit, and was fast, haha. Then several million after that via buying event merch post event, storing in personal guild banks, and flipping about 7-9 months later for 4-10X. Each event ill drop couple million, and live on current profits from prior events
For example, 2 years ago i bought roughly 200 nordic bath towels for anything under 4k each. Been selling them casually for 70k+ as a side hustle using just 1 trader slot i refill each day.
I do 1 quest in IC on 4 servers every day, it takes 50 days to make little over 3 million gold, plus I have extra telvar, and I enjoy it, especially when I get my million gold on PC NA, for selling that timbercrow wanderer outfit runebox.

I feel pretty stupid but as a new player, i know this game is very overwhelming. How do you do daily quests? I dont see them in my journal so im guessing thats not how they work. Im on ps4 started the game less than a month ago and im a level 47 nightblade dark elf. Also a werewolf but dont totally focus on it (dont hate me i literally worship Hircine i have tattoos on my body to prove it so i cant help it haha) in getting to the point of maxing out skills like bow which i focus on, medium armor since im stamina, all my attributes are full stam only ive taught myself some things just from going in but i feel like im confused about the most simple things. Like i literally dont know how to do daily quests. Anything else you can assume im missing out on or media i should soak into my head would be much appreciated. Ive also never done any pvp and have no friends at all so any server friends i could have that want to play together and teach me hands on please go for it. If you want my psn name let me know.
