The music you choose to accompany your videos is just right. Often, when watching other channels, the music is electronic and mind numbing, so I tune out and go elsewhere. Your choices always compliment the work you are doing. It is all of a piece! Wonderful to watch and listen to.

Trena, I have watched a few different creators that refinish and repair furniture . Then I ran across your channel. Not one of them can compare to you. You are on top of your game. Everything is so beautiful when your finished. It is easy to see your passion for your trade. You did not disappoint with this table either. It looked like this table had seen a lot of meals and now it will see a lot more. Incredibly beautiful!! I can not wait to see what is next !!

It looks much better than the original. Trena understands finishes. I cannot imagine putting all that opaque toner on this wood. The little grain it had was not visible. THEY basically painted this maple brown, and for no reason.

Beautiful work, as always! My wife and I love that type of table, which my son called a transformer table when he was younger. When we bought our house we scoured furniture stores and antique stores looking for one, without success, and ended up commissioning one from some Amish craftsmen: three 18-inch leaves and 24-inch drop-leaf ends make for an incredibly versatile table.

As always, a winner, Trena. That colour on the now visible grain plus the soft finish looks gorgeous! Also, more sympathetic to the maple wood's character. Lovely job Trena! 👍
I remember Grandma and Grandpa's dining room table having the capability of serving dozens. The only time that leaves went in it was when all of the family got together which was once a year when everyone from the family would go at the same time. The rest of the year the leaves were stored in the "leaf closet" which contained the leaves, tablecloths, runners and placemats. So the table basically had it's own closet.
The color was flat, overly muted and really shiny.
I can only imagine what the table would look like if left in the care of John's Furniture.
Thanks for another great video of excellent quality. 👍
PS: I won't hate on you for the dark color but I was wondering about it for a while. Love it!

It needed some love like this one but fortunately not quite as much. Yours came out magnificently. Mine is much better than it was when I got it.😅 I wish this video had been available five years ago which would have helped make my restoration better. And what’s even more amazing is the trunk you’re going to be doing is very close to the one we got from her parents. We cedar lined it rather than paper so I am anxious to see that video.
