Time to Remake Resident Evil 5?

- When re5 came out back in 2009 i was all about it, i had just played my first resident evil ever 2 years before in resident evil 4 Wii edition, i didn't grow up playing the series, i started from 4 on and the remakes, i just played the first one and zero last year.
I have a ton of ressy experience since then and I have not played it since platinum it back then and I'm excited to dive back in, is it better than 4?, does it hold up? or is it time for a remake let's find out as we take another look at resident evil 5.
In 2009, five years after the events of Resident Evil 4, Chris Redfield, now an agent of the Bioterrorism Security Assessment Alliance (BSAA), is dispatched to Kijuju in West Africa. He and his new partner Sheva Alomar are tasked with apprehending Ricardo Irving before he can sell a bio-organic weapon (BOW) on the black market.

An RE5 remake with more of the normal series mechanics like puzzles and survival horror would make this one perfect.
If RE4R is anything to go by, I’d love an RE5 remake. A point of preference though, I prefer my RE games to be solo missions. Having a character along side you, takes away from the feeling of isolation. Also, CAPCOM have to sort out your partner, getting in the way from time to time. That seriously annoys me. RE1 remake: Good
RE 2 remake: Good
RE 3 remake: Bad
RE 4 remake: Good.
By that sequence RE 5 remake should be good and RE 6 bad.
But I really hope for a good RE 6 remake 😐
RE5 was great and I cant wait to see what the REmake crew can do with coop. I've been a fan of RE since its original release in 96 and you would be surprised how many old gamers like myself actually like the game. It kind of odd because I remember hearing that RE fans didn't like it but everyone I played the game with at release had a blast, unlike 6 who I cant find anyone liking at all. It also being CAPCOM's best selling game until Monster Hunter Worlds came out pretty much guarantees the remake is happening, just don't know if RE9 will come first.
They'd probably end up changing Sheva slightly & removing her bikini outfit sadly
Capcom have 5 RE games in the works. I wouldn't be surprised if at least 2 of them were remakes but imo i don't think they'd do more than 2 brand new ones so 3 off them could be
i think overall it's still a pretty good game just needs more puzzles and less over the top action

It has too much yet too less content. The pacing is a little off if they fix that this would be amazing

Resi 5 should absolutely not get a remake. It holds up extremely well theres no reason to be remaking it. And with how they absolutely FUCKED 2, 3 and 4 if there is a remake i have no hope for it.
WTF are you talking about? 🤣🤣🤣 The only thing this game needs fixed is QTE, horrible split screen mode and little improvements on ally IA.
RE5 won't get remade, why? Because it sucks and is perceived as extremely racist.
6 is also hot garbage, as in it is not a Resident Evil game regardless of what the publisher would like for you to think it is.
You started with RE4 which is where the game series starts to suck, RE4 isn't bad, however it's just Tomb Raider with Zombies, I absolutely HATE the third person perspective, I believe that bad camera angles and tank controls is what made Resident Evil what is truly is.
It used to feel like a proper horror movie, and then with 4 its like Michael Bay got a hold of it and ruined it with a big budget and explosions.
What I am trying to say is you lack appreciation for the classics, and I'm mad about it lol
RE 4 isn't a survival horror.
It's an action shooter with survival and horror elements.
That doesn't mean it's bad. There is no law that all Resi games have to be classic survival horrors.
The premise of Resi 5 wasn't bad. It's just they were trying out new concepts. Focusing on coop and online play.
A remake were they build the game anew from the beginning is way overdue.

Resi 5 really was just a beta were they tested out coop and online play for Resi 6. Resi 5 could be forgiven if Resi 6 didn't suck balls.
Re5 controls and online not as bad as u say it is u used the worst part of the game to represent online
