This is most beautifully designed interior, and I am so picky that I don't like anything that someone else designed for interior, but this is breathtaking. Wonderful guy, so kind to cats, very talented designer,and exquisit taste. Thank you for your very kind words. I used to believe I had no artistic abilities even though I love art. Then someone pointed out that my home, which I designed, is a kind of art. I love being surrounded by vibrant colors and art and cats. The catwalks are beautiful to me as art and then come alive when filled with cats using them. I feel like I live in a kind of cat aquarium and feel very lucky.

Him being a contractor means he is very well off financially. Glad he adopts many cats who would probably have been euthanized if he had not taken them. Many people can not afford such elaborate homes and cat walk ways. He has a life that many can only dream about. Nice home!!!!
I also love how they put lips on all of the shelving so that the cats don't fall off in their sleep:) The only thing I would add would be more cushioning on the shelving, or somewhere, for them to be more comfortable when lying around, which they obviously do most of the time.
We are fortunate enough to be able to have help cleaning our house twice a week. We then spend about 1 hr a day cleaning up after the cats. We also have 5 Roombas that we run every day. We also have no rugs (they pee on them when they are unhappy) and all tile floors that are easy to clean.
I am a cat lover too, but struggling with my cat hairs (& some dirt he brings in on his paws) in my place. It has to be with a great effort for a good hygiene & organization to keep his house clean, for sure!
This is exactly what I want for my cat except I'd live in the garage and just come in everyday to groom feed water and clean the litter, say hello. I'm allergic to cats so I'd rather sleep in the garage cause I tend to wake up really stuffy if I were to sleep in the house.

I was born in Santa Barbara but have never seen it plus I have never connected more to any other animal but the Cat. This episode made me cry!
