I actually really liked the Sandman character. Sure, he wasn't a technical wrestler like at all. But he was a badass that had character. Something that is missing from today's WWE shows. The one guy who has similar attributes, but who can actually wrestle is Jon Moxley of AEW.

BIGWORM 510 Yes but in 07 for a bit did have cm punk new breed which was great I think later that year they changed the stage then it did go downhill from there but yeh you're right 05 06 was genius to bring it back for the older fans it could have been a really cool brand if they stuck to the original idea it was supposed to be more edgy then raw and smackdown wish they'd bring a show like that out nowadays but wwe really lost focus with the new ecw
