My impression of Test was because of his size and good looks he always seemed to get a push that ultimately went nowhere because he just didn't have the charisma to get the fans behind him as a babyface or draw enough heat as a heel, then when the invasion happened and the roster got bloated with wrestlers who did have charisma and were just as big if not bigger than him he went on the juice a little too much, add recreational drugs and painkillers to that and that was that. Very sad but a common story in the wrestling business back then
He had some degree of charisma when he was Steph's (and to a lesser degree Stacy Keibler's) bf, but when that storyline was over (yet another Hunter crime) they didn't use him right, and he didn't have enough skill to propel himself further into the main event either. Didn't help that his addictions and bad attitude, which fed into each other, soured his presence in the locker room. Still, he was a good enough tweener midcarder, and a great big boot, fwiw. RIP.

Test decides to go with the Unamericans aligning himself with Christian and the Impact Players Candido and Storm,with Test being the muscle of the group with later Chris Jericho joining forces with The Unamericans later becoming their leader. Test continues his partnership with A Train with the two men even becoming the close muscle of Christian during his Intercontinental Title reign.
One of the only few men and maybe the perfect guy who had a towering height and just nailed the running big boot perfectly , was more athletic and was never showcased in his true potential , if he was improvised by creatives and given good storylines , Test would have been huge star , Also Sean o haire , (the latter built for pro wrestling). It was the biggest loss to wrestling , such awesome performers & peak wrestlers who were just abandoned by wwe without proper use. Rest in peace dudes 💔🙏.

If Test was just used a little better and actually treated with some respect from some key people, I think Test would've made a greater effort to return that respect to the business, and truly become a better worker; the potential certainly was there.
