Lovely acoustics, that fuga and the other in A minor are very challenging in the partitas sonatas for solo violin. I only attempted to play the dance movements in Partita no 3. It takes the pros such as Hilary Hahn years to master that. Janin Jensen the Dutch violinist got so frustrated with her Bach album while recording it, she threw her bow across the studio.

In some sections the violin is really speaking. Good phrasing. Brilliant playing considering her age

thanks a lot! I see from your channel that you like Chess and Math, I used to play chess in school, but it was 30+ years ago :) On the other hand, I still like Math, and now we (my wife and I) are writing several Math apps for iPhones/iPads (mostly Linear Algebra, can show you if you are interested). And what about music, do you play violin, too? Or any other instrument?

@@yumoroz glad to hear you love mathematics. I have seen a few videos on your channel on the application you mentioned, but i use Android so that's probably not an option for me.
I play flute, not violin. But as a composer I had do dive deeper into the details of each instrument, and as cello is my favourite instrument, i had to learn a bit more about string instruments.
      Thanks!

@@chessematics yes, almost all of my old friends with Math, Physics and Computer background have Androids... Good to hear about flute and composing, do you have any videos with your music on you channel? and yes, we all love the sound of cello...

@@chessematics thanks! my son does some composing and arranging, in a different family of instruments - brass. He started with the trumpet, but now plays every single brass instrument, and makes a lot of videos, here is his channel, just in case
