@@TheMostComfortableHeels fully agree. The girlies who get it, get it. It’s us, we’re the girlies who neither listen (to the locals) nor learn (from our pain) 😂
@@TheMostComfortableHeelsyou learn to put the weight on your toes instead of the heel. Or thicker heels (eg. not stilettos) But yes, I often feel like a geisha tiptoeing around constantly thinking of not twisting my ankles!
I live in a small town in Italy all made of cobblestone lol. That's exactly how you feel the first time, then you learn to run wearing heels on cobblestone... We are always late lol
I also learned how to walk on uneven ground in heels, living in Boston in the US. I guess the local government wanted to preserve some of the old architecture. There were so many times I wore heels and didn’t think about the area I would be in. Sure enough there would be a cobblestone road to test my ankles!
i live in florence and makes my life so hard 😭😭 you have no idea, finding a flat piece of concrete is heaven, because most of the times there are big holes and different levels bc they tried to fix it. It’s so hard to not break my ankle wearing 16cm heels 💔
My sister calls heels in and out shoes for this reason. In and out of the car and into the venue you go at where you can sit and then back out and in the car. 😂
Hahaha yeah. Between that and using my bicycle public transport to get around, I've all but given up on wearing heels. It's a shame, but what can you do?
Worst is the NYC with the metal subway grates that are part of the sidewalk. You can ruin your the actual heel if you forget & step on one as It scratches & rips the material
You're doing it wrong. 1. Wear flip-flops 2. Put your heels in your satchel 3. Switch your foot wear when you arrive 4. (And this is very important) switch them back when you depart
Omg yasss them cobblestones in the city was no joke and then the grates that covered the whole peice of sidewalk I get a laugh out of how did I do it back then our homegirls hadda give us piggyback rides over them aka my bestie cuz she didnt wear heels 😂😂😂
I walk on the balls of my feet and still experience a lot of pain depending on the type of heel and it's length. You must be lucky to not have an issue
This is why majority of Europe wear trainers everywhere
They do but don’t get it twisted. Cities like Paris, Rome, Milan and many more have a high heel culture while their streets are mainly cobblestones

No we don't

The background music and sound….. Nigeria epic movies (aka Nollywood). Once you hear that sound an accident is about to happen 🤣🤣🤣
That’s exactly how it felt when I decided to wear stilettos to a musical in Germany without thinking. Cobblestone is dangerous.
It’s horrible and Germany old towns are notorious for that 😂
@@TheMostComfortableHeels Many old city centres in Sweden as well. It can easily create a peeled 🍌 of your heels.
Lmao!!! I still do it but I do bring flats. The streets of Amsterdam for example are not high heel friendly😂
This is why the backs of all my heels are completely destroyed! 😅
I can surely understand why

Almost broke my neck in Paris in some platforms. Lived and learned you ATE DOWN this look ❤
I wear my trainers daily here in germany theses streets are not loyal lol
As an European, that's easy cobblestone... Portuguese calçada's on another level
Girl those cobblestone paths are only good to look at lol. I learned the hard way as well 😂😂
What a cute outfit🌸
That Nollywood music!😂😂but yes, cobbled and uneven streets everywhere in Europe
Same stress in South Africa

Just come to Portugal, and you'll know the final boss ground

That was intensely hilarious 😂❤
I only ended up wearing my sneakers the entire trip there 😂

I've lived in NY and I've visited Europe. I'll take a NYC sunway grate over a cobblestone sidewalk ANY DAY! lol
Dumb thing is that I would still attempt to wear my six--inches there. As foolish as it might be.
It's not dumb! You just need to think how you would do it. Uber from spot A to B with a little walking here and there
Wearing high heels isn't easy to wear anywhere 😊
I wore a new pair of Givenchy sandals and then decided to walk around the streets of Barcelona. I? Was K.O.
You can wear wedge ✨

Lisbon is a death trap for heels
outfit 10/10 🎉

Yet the Italian women wear high stilettos and walk in those streets while smoking their cigarettes 😂😂😂😂 i don't know how
Walking in tennis shoes are hard enough 😂
Oh God!!! I swear I was on the verge of crying coz I was tired of shoes and wanted to use the heels I had packed for my tour. Big mistake 😂😂
Noooo 😂😂❤️
That is like downtown Boston had to by slippers on a date with now now hubs
Oh no 😂 even the comfortable ones?? Happy vacation though!
Hahah! No the comfy chunky heels with ankle support will go a long way in the Netherlands
Echt leuk dat je in Nederland bent!!
Volgens mij is ze Nederlands. Ze praat Engels met een Nederlands accent en ze schrijft ook in Nederlands hier en daar in de comments
I run in High Heels in Europe. For me easy 😅
If not walking on toes, heels will be trash😂
Nah facts the "tegels" are so akward😂😂
Sisss that’s a big mistake! The outfit is killing tho 💕💕
Same in Eygpt 🥲
LMAO
Do you walk on your heels? I have always walked on the balls of my feet so heels have never really been the issue people make them out to be
