Greetings from Colorful Colorado. I've had to completely rebuild the aft 3 feet of a conventional travel trailer (bath/shower area) due to roof leak water damage, and I've done two cargo trailer conversions to campers. When I need to glue a piece of material to a wall, as in your shower build, I have found a pressure sensitive adhesive works well. You trowel the material onto the solid surface, (using a fine tooth trowel, 3/8 max) let it get tacky (the longer it air dries, the stickier it gets) then simply press your surface material into place. I'm not familiar with the adhesive you were using, and it might be great...but when you trowel on the pressure sensitive adhesive there are no air gaps, and it's not ever going anywhere. Warning, when you start to apply your cover sheet, make sure everything is lined up, because once you start to adhere it, it's like contact cement and is very difficult to adjust.

Super helpful episode Greg, really like the way you have built the bathroom with minimal framework, compared to vertical 3x2 framing and double skinned walls that steal valuable space. Love it 👍🏻
Hi, my subconscious OCD sighs every time I watch one of your videos🤓. I also noticed you took your time with the most satisfying part of any build, peeling off the protective film😜.
Hi mate. Plumber by trade. An angle grinder with a porcelain tile blade cuts stuff like that sheeting quick and clean. Doesn’t throw the sheet about or risk damaging 👍👍👍
When I wanna learn how to fit something in my van, there’s only one guy I go to on TH-cam. How to build a camper van with Greg, better than a professional conversion.

Flying to Manchester next Saturday to bring back a xlwb sprinter to Ireland watching all your videos last few weeks I really appreciate the time and effort you put into making them Greg 👍
A proper home has a toilet and shower. A lot of builds don't have this, even my little campervan has a toilet and shower and I'd miss it if it wasn't there. A shower inside is not so important in really hot climates but why not fit one anyway if building a toilet cubicle, even if a bucket of water and battery operated shower head can be used in it to save expense if it's out of one's budget. I see people have portaloos under seats and hidden in small cupboards but privacy is important I think plus the fact it won't feel like you're sh**ing or pi**ing in your kitchen lol, but seriously. Can't wait until van tour vid!!!
Hello from London Canada, excellent video and tips throughout. I'm still in the head to paper planning stage of my shower build for my Ram Promaster 3500 extended high roof. It's not as easy as many think to accomplish a well built functional DIY van build however you have taken a taunting task and somehow made it a much easier project with less stress and pitfalls. Thank you Robert in Canada
@@RustyCas999 My van build has been a work in progress, expensive non-budget friendly project. It has also been coupled with huge life altering events. Unlike a lot of people who have documented their progress from start to finish I started with still images but soon left that behind in favour of doing a completed video and explanation. I will say that no two DIY van conversions will be the same. When my van is completed there will be no other like it. Just the same as Greg's Sprinter build it's totally unique and took hours of work in completion. At this very point due to a family medical problem my van is about 75% completed, I need to finish it but doubt I'll ever use it for its intended purpose.
Thanks so endlessly for posting this incredibly detailed video. It’s amazingly helpful. At 6:53 - what is the grey paint on that surface, flecked with dots? Some kind of epoxy paint? Looks great by the way. 9:04 - that tiny detail of sloping the lip of the tray is astounding! I would have never thought of that. Your brain must be mulling these details over while you sleep. How do I make my brain more like yours? I'm digesting all this information like a fine novel. Thank you for the quality work you do. It restores faith in good workmanship. Ever thought of teaching? You are a natural.
Hello 😇, the grey floor finish is Altro and we covered the whole floor before fitting any furniture. See this video for full details th-cam.com/video/ZsQjSd1625I/w-d-xo.html Re the tray, I can let you into a secret. I put a square bit of wood in first and there was a gap so that led me to think it must be designed with a slope in mind. Good idea though 😎 Teaching is an admirable profession but the pay here is very poor. That’s typical of these type of jobs. Very rewarding on another level. Thanks for following along. What stage are you at?

You mentioned that your shower pan cracked as did others. Do you think it could have been installed differently to avoid the cracking? Were you able to repair it? Or did you replace the pan and if so with what? Thank you for all you've done for the community. Cheers!
I don’t think there was anything I could have done to stop it cracking. It was way too thin and not suitable for the job. Taken out and new one hand made out of timber and fibreglass over top.
Thanks again for this Greg. So is the reason people put their toilet waste inside the van due to the structure of the van as you never seem to see motorhomes with the waste cassette point and the filler inside.
Hi Greg did you get my message on what will my agm battery's go with wanderer controller pleaseit has 4 battery settings on it Blue li Orange gel Redflooded Green sealed
Nice job, Greg. One thing I'm having a hard time finding in any video where there is a hole drilled in the van floor, is the proper way to prevent corrosion in the hole and how to properly seal it from under the van. Would love to know how you did that.
Hello Ian, cut a hole just slightly largr than your drop out vent or pipe etc, file any rough edges off of the cut edge, paint with hammerite to seal the raw metal edges. Place your pipe or drop out vent inthe hole and seal all around the top and underside with sikaflex 512. After it had cured I did spray the underside with waxoyl but that was only for added protection.
Hi Greg, have really enjoyed the build series and your instructional and informative approach. it would be great to know now you have been using the shower for a while is there anything you would do differently and how is it holding up with the use and movement since compleating the build? Going to start a build myself later this year and have found this entire series an invaluable source for research so thanks for taking the time to share
Sprinters are high topped vans and I'm a short arse of 5' 7" so I was thinking that under that shower tray could a 3 inch deep bowl be fitted to really get the water out faster. Maybe I'm over thinking it. I like a power shower is that possible? I find power showers are shorter as it is more efficient of getting you clean in a shorter time, use less water and power possibly too. Also on the Fiat would it be impossible to add a shower/loo cubical? But I'm still not sure what I want. I only have a basic license so won't be able to go for the bigger vans, unless I take the test for a bus and then the build takes on a whole new turn. I had looked at bus conversions, especially the minibus type used in villages or by special schools. Before I start parting with my hard earned, I'm really going to need to know what I want. I have lived in caravans before - statics and tow away's, I don't like low ceilings or pokey rooms. But I have learnt from camping that there are options, like large canvass extensions - more than just an awning extend your living space a lot. A log heater like I have for my hot tent creates a warm outer room. It's definitely on my build plans. I've even considered the Kei-Car vans from Japan - great for cost and they fit nicely down tiny country roads, especially out in the sticks were I am. All good advice though Greg, thanks.
Hi Greg, could you clarify something for me please. I need to purchase a shower kit (head, etc.), and i find mixed reviews and opinions whether "normal" showers would work with electric pumps or not. In theory, when the thumb lever is released the water is shut off. I read reviews that say for pumped showers where the pump is not pressure sensitive, this means the pump continues to try and pump water but without water flowing. This risks damaging the pump motor and blowing the unit. However some pumped showers are regulated by pressure - in circumstances where the water is stopped from flowing, the pump switches off. (I will be using the Shurflo pump you recommend.) let's clear this up once and for all: do we need to buy the "electric pump convertible motorhome showers" (as usual, priced way over the "normal' shower kits), or will these "traditional" showers work just fine. As I could not find link to what shower kit/head you recommend, this is the one i am considering getting: www.amazon.co.uk/Aizhy-Stainless-Bathroom-Portable-Personal/dp/B07F7Z27W9/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?dchild=1&keywords=handheld+bidet+spray+kit&qid=1590128462&s=diy&sr=1-1-spons&psc=1&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUExWUtJMUI4WE1RVFNXJmVuY3J5cHRlZElkPUEwMTQ0OTk3MlJOMUE3RDg1SjcxViZlbmNyeXB0ZWRBZElkPUEwMzQ3NDgwMU5ZU01HTlgzQVRMNiZ3aWRnZXROYW1lPXNwX2F0ZiZhY3Rpb249Y2xpY2tSZWRpcmVjdCZkb05vdExvZ0NsaWNrPXRydWU= thanks for your input on this!!
Hi Greg, Thanks so much for doing these videos, they are so useful. Your attention to detail is Amazing. I am starting a Renault Master build in Sydney And will copy a lot of your ideas. Just a question on your shower, you did mention in your Q &A video if it was a good idea or not. Now you have used your van for a while, if you did another build would you put in a shower and toilet ? I only just have room for one and like your design of 975 x 700 but it is a lot of space that may not get well used, when we can shower outside in Australia quite easily. Love to hear your experience so far? Cheers Tim
That’s a good question and I’m not planning to put a shower in this nee van build. We don’t use the one in ours and use other services which are easily available. I will be putting in a toilet though as that is essential.
Hi Greg, am converting a Sprinter in Ontario, Canada and have very much enjoyed (and benefitted from) your expertise. I was particularly interested in your shower install, but was hoping to see what the drain looked like from under the van - is there another video in which I can view it. Thanks!

Hi I am a joiner and well impressed with your work.so can I say you call it mastic to seal shower is it not silicone. Also when you fixed king span to roof why could you not get he fit 10 mm less and then run expanding foam in gap this would also stick it in place. But I must say this is the best build on you tube by a long way.looking forward to watch more videos regards kevin
Greg - Just starting to plan my van conversion. Your attention to detail is awesome. With the toilet is there any reason you chose not to have the cassette facing outward and create a access hatch in the van side? Secondly, can you help build my van?
TinRobot I didn’t want to cut through the van at low level because it would have been halfway through the plastic trim and trying to weather proof it would have been difficult. We don’t have any problem with it being inside it’s perfectly sealed and always very fresh in the shower. We use the Thetford sachets and have a nice smell. Happy to answer any questions if that helps 😊
Hi Greg, loving your videos they are sooo helpful! Just wondering if you have any advice or videos regarding the installation of the bathroom extractor? Thank you
Clair Sulley no I didn’t do a video of that because it wasn’t my best choice. So didn’t want to recommend it. I ended up putting a 12v AC fan in running off a mains transformer so I have to use my inverter. It’s not a good way of doing it and would be better if can find a 12v DC fan but not many nice ones about. Sorry that doesn’t help you much.
I know it is a while since you did this but what blade did you use for cutting your furniture board as you managed to get a really nice cut with no obvious blow out - Thanks
Hello Tim, on the circular saw I used a Freud 80T blade and for the jigsaw I use T101BR blades which cut on the downstroke so you have you face side up. Here is a link amzn.to/3O05gRZ. I use masking tape on both sides to help prevent chip out and don’t go too fast let the blade do the work take your time and you’ll get good results. My overhead cupboard video explains more about the blade choice 👍🏼😊
Just curious What was the reason for the pvc lining in the shower over the laminated rain board. That seemed already water tight and very good looking. Great video
Thanks for this video- you make it look so easy. Could you advice which fan you used in the shower. I'm struggling to find anything suitable for our wet room Thank you.
Hi Greg, I'm currently doing my own van build and thanks to your amazing videos you have really helped me throughout. I'm stuck on the solution for the window surround. I can see yours looks great and wondered if you made it or purchased it. Many thanks...
I see you used PVC sheeting to line inside the shower. I was thinking of using white Alupanel (aluminium composite panels, two sheets of aluminium with epoxy compound/foam between the two layers 3mm thick. Any feedback using aluminium sign panel over PVC sheeting. I was hoping of curing the aluminium panelling to the shape of my roof bus (toyota coaster) and direct sticking to the bus frame. My only other thought is in regards to fitting panels together. You did great tight joins between the vertical panels, however I was thinking that a larger gap might be better. My experience comes from the pain of having a fibre cement sheet flat roof with tiles on it once laid by a builder that abutted the sheets directly next to each other with sealant in-between. The manufacture recommended a 10mm gap between the sheets to be filled by sealant to give enough roof for thermal expansion. As you could imagine any movement say 1mm flex in the van with a small gap of 1mm would be 200% elongation required for the sealant. If you left a larger gap and pushed sealant into the gap say 5mm any movement would be better accommodated by the sealant's /adhesives elongation properties.
I'm not sure a shower will stay watertight at the joins with the movement in a van. A self contained unit of some sort might be a better bet. But that's just a hunch on my part.
Hi Greg 👋 great videos you're my goto if I get stuck. One question! I'm at the stage of building the shower unit, I've go a xlwb crafter with the bed going across,so have room to add a unit between the bed and shower thus securing the shower wall my question is how did you secure the left hand shower wall to the wall of the van? Cheers
It was secured to the wall where the top cupboard is and at the base where the bench seat is. It was secured to the top frame and bottom timber too. The only portion not fixed is where it goes past the window but that doesn’t move with the other fixings.
just bought a van with this installation. Thetford toilet and shoer tray from jackson leisure. Aparantly Theford dont make shower trays so these are cheap products manufactured by who knows. My Tray has multiple cracks - You tube seems to be full of reports of these so called Thetford trays cracking due to being low quality and super thin. Does anyone have a solution for repairing or covering a cracked tray or is the only answer to rip the lot out and try and find a decent option? is your 2018 tray still intack Greg?
Hi, noticed the toilette cassette is facing the inside of the van instead of having facing the van panel with a little door when empty is necessary - of course this will save from an extra cut through the van side - I am personally having a dilemma, not sure what to go for
Pasquale Gatto watch my first France video and you will see how the small door works. Cutting and sealing a hole for door at the height is a nightmare as the van sides are not straight and it goes through the plastic trim. Difficult to do well.
What is that wall penaling did use also what is that colored panel that your using. I need a bath tub rv size where would i go to find that great video from Canada.
Hi Greg- Fabulous work - Even as an engineer and seasoned DIYer I am really enjoying your videos and picking up a lot of useful tips. Thank you! I have a question about why you decided to have the loo cassette pull out into the van rather than externally? Is it to do with the shower drain positioning versus the chasis ? or that you didnt want / couldnt suitably site and fit the required door on the outside? Many Thanks. Jon
Hello Jon, it was mainly because there is a lot of steel supports and van wall to cut out and remove to get the door to go outside and it would be halfway through the plastic trim which would have to be cut, the van side is curved and would need to be filled with tons of mastic, the list of negatives was huge. We have been in a van with a cassette inside and it seals itself when removed and with good hygiene, it was really easy to deal with and no smells at all. Easier solution all round I think.
This is why I have put my cassette inside the van because I didn’t want to cut a big hole in the side of the van. We keep it very clean and have never had any problems with snells in the van
Great scribing and workmanship - have you had any issues with the joints being 'too' tight ? expansion and contraction? any leaks or squeaks? I always enjoy your vids :)
Really very nice work. Where did you buy your shower tray with toilet support? I do not find in France. This support would be suitable for a Thetford 263. Thank you
Gerard Philibert, there is a link in the video description for Thetford shower tray, I do not know if your newer toilet is the same shape as mine? Our toilet is no longer produced, but there must be new trays for newer models, that it the whole design basis. Hope the link helps you.
Hi Greg, watched most of your videos at this stage and their by far the best when it comes to builds especially the shower cubicle and watts law, one quick question if that's Possible using the online voltage calculator I know they take voltage drop into account but do they allow for ×1.25 speak about in your video
Hi Greg, Really helpful video as usual! I would like to ask about extractor fan install. I have the same extractor fan I think (Xpelair LV100 12v) and the unit is 87mm deep to back of motor. My van wall is probably only going to be around 60-63mm thick. It looks like your fan is fitted flush to the wall so just like to know if you had this problem and if so what was your solution? TIA
Hi Greg. Any reason you didn't use any of the trims you can buy with the Pvc sheets? Presume you've found it to be watertight butting them next to each other and using sealant? Thanks!!
How did you figure out where to drill the pilot hole was in the vicinity of clearing the suspension etc/ in the first place? Did you do those measurements on sketches or did you physically measure the location on the van itself? If the latter, how did you do it so accurately?
I know it’s been 4 years, but can you tell me how you wired in your extractor fan. I always assumed that you can’t use a 12v house fan on a 12v van system, but you’ve done just that. Your advice would be very much appreciated. 🙏
Hi Tanya, you are right these domestic fans are 12v AC and not DC so you have to use the transformer that is supplied with it and power it from an inverter or shore supply. It’s not the best solution but it works and I couldn’t find a suitable DC extract fan to go here. It only used for short periods of time. 😊

Another great video - and yet another daft question from me! I’ve looked through all the comments so apologies if you’ve answered this already - but where is the light switch for the shower? Thanks again!
Greg Virgoe Yes of course - I see it now on your final van tour video - what is the round black fitting on the face of the cupboard and the white box on the outside of the shower wall? P.s. you’re a 🌟
Hi mate, when you said about the blade on your saw only being exposed enough to go through your board this creates more resistance/work for the motor as you have more teeth in contact with the work piece. The saw will cut best with the blade fully exposed, max cut depth, because less teeth will be in contact with the work piece resulting in less friction for the motor. Cheers 👍

Love your work. Best shower install I've seen
Super helpful episode Greg, really like the way you have built the bathroom with minimal framework, compared to vertical 3x2 framing and double skinned walls that steal valuable space. Love it 👍🏻
Great video, I have been watching them all. Also a great camera man - lady and of course your helper.
UrbanARK overland, I find that abrasive wheels tend to melt PVC rather than cut it.
When I wanna learn how to fit something in my van, there’s only one guy I go to on TH-cam.
How to build a camper van with Greg, better than a professional conversion.
Your work is superb! Loving these videos and im learning a ton! Thanks greg!
Very helpful. I'm gonna try and get a van and do this (hard finding full time permanent work). BTW Greg looks like Rico in Judge Dredd, Sylvester Stallone's brother 😉
Love the paper trick at the end
The roll of lining paper was 2.99 and it made a perfect template 👍🏼😊
Flying to Manchester next Saturday to bring back a xlwb sprinter to Ireland watching all your videos last few weeks I really appreciate the time and effort you put into making them Greg 👍
Fireblade 100, nice one ☝️ hope all goes well with your build. Thanks for the support.

Robert, I am planning on using the same van as you. How is your build going?
Now I am even more sure that I can do it.! Thanks Greg!
I'm pleased it has helped you
Cleaning up well on this part of the project my friend 😉😊
Off to watch part 2 👍🏼😊
Squeaky clean ;D lol
Hi I like the way u explain things....uv got a knack for it...I'm looking forward to the van u do with just hand tools...that should be interesting..
I should know tomorrow if I have got the news budget van fingers crossed 🤞🏼
LOL you do make it look so easy Greg 👍 and so quick too (if only)
Best Regards us up North 👍😀🐾
Wish I could have fast forward the build as you can in the edit, definitely taken a lot more time than I thought it would.
Greg Virgoe LOL you have done an amazing job tho 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
And very soon you can start to enjoy it

I like the eyes on your vac!
I liked what u did with the waste tank,,drilling it out,,and replacing it with a tank connector....LATERAL THINKING.

These videos are useful and very helpful well done . And thankyou
You are mostly welcome 🙏🏼
Great video, good explanation of things at each stage. Well done
Thanks so endlessly for posting this incredibly detailed video. It’s amazingly helpful. I have just picked up my shower unit for my Hino box truck I converting by myself… so if I am stuck or I have more questions, I will definitely ask you if that’s ok?
It’s a bit harder to do these kind of plumbing things as a woman by myself but I am sure I can get it done too 😁
Thanks again. It’s so helpful to watch every step and your attention to detail is absolutely fabulous…. Love it 🙏🙏🙏🙏🥰❤️👍🚛
Hi,. Greg I love watching Your Videos
But I Have a Request That Can help You to Make more Views But first what thing you used to Cut open the Shower Hole,......when you Use a Tool or Material Please Write on The Screen what is it So we don't always have to Ask Everytime

Great video!. Could you point me in the direction of how you added the services to the bathroom. ie cavity wall? Thank You
All the build videos are in one playlist in order so you can scroll though and watch what you need. Here is the shower one 👍🏼 th-cam.com/video/vpezHyhLjxI/w-d-xo.html
See this video for full details th-cam.com/video/ZsQjSd1625I/w-d-xo.html
Re the tray, I can let you into a secret. I put a square bit of wood in first and there was a gap so that led me to think it must be designed with a slope in mind. Good idea though 😎
Teaching is an admirable profession but the pay here is very poor. That’s typical of these type of jobs. Very rewarding on another level.
Thanks for following along.
What stage are you at?
I love to see all this videos. Its great info but if i have to spend the money on all those fancy tools...i might get one that is all done and save the time...Cause time is money
Hiya Greg glad i watched this as i'm getting a 2007 sprinter can you tell me the overall size of the shower and loo tray please
thanks
Jack
Ahh dog sighting! :) As usual I love your videos, super professional and I know that I can trust your advice.
Have you done a video of this updated shower tray Greg? Would love to see what you’ve done
Thanks again for this Greg. So is the reason people put their toilet waste inside the van due to the structure of the van as you never seem to see motorhomes with the waste cassette point and the filler inside.
Hi Greg did you get my message on what will my agm battery's go with wanderer controller pleaseit has 4 battery settings on it
Blue li
Orange gel
Redflooded
Green sealed
Thanks again buddy , brilliant as usual .
@@GregVirgoe Great info! Thx Greg
Very thoughtful build!
Thank you sir...every detail needed...awesome🤫
Beautiful work.
I would also be interested to know if the PVA on plywood + PVC lining does the job :) I'm considering building the shower in the same way.
We don't use the shower in our van we always find other options which is why i'm not fitting one in the new van, its just too much hassle.
Hi Greg what's the best way to attach the wall boards for the bathroom to the floor and side walls of the van
Thanks Greg, I found Polyprop for my shower 3mm and 5mm really flexible the HB40 adhesive looks good is this better than SikaFlex to use.
Cheers
Chris
Awesome mate, it is a professional job,
Alexander Cella thank you
Hi Greg, could you clarify something for me please. As I could not find link to what shower kit/head you recommend, this is the one i am considering getting:

Thanks!
The build videos are arranged into one playlist that you can scroll through. Here is the grey waste video for you th-cam.com/video/VKolPhQfHLQ/w-d-xo.html
@@GregVirgoe Thanks - I assume the shower drain was sealed with mastic like the sink drain? Or does it take a large nut as it seemed to be threaded?
@@kevinrobertson7991 5:00
@@GregVirgoe thanks for the reply, I'm also having trouble finding a 12v DC fan, want to avoid having the use the transformer? 🤔
Great video
Matt Ander the van wall was only normal plywood and it would look odd two different finishes. Just a better looking job I think 🤔
Thanks for this video- you make it look so easy. Could you advice which fan you used in the shower. I'm struggling to find anything suitable for our wet room Thank you.
ty for a nice well done post
You’re welcome Bruce 👍🏼😃
Hi Greg, I'm currently doing my own van build and thanks to your amazing videos you have really helped me throughout. I'm stuck on the solution for the window surround. I can see yours looks great and wondered if you made it or purchased it. Many thanks...

Great video . Thank you .
Just curious, why you’ve gone to domestic size outlets. PS I haven’t seen the whole video yet.
@@GregVirgoe great thanks for your prompt reply 👍 hope to meet you again in person at one of the meetups.

just bought a van with this installation.
I thought you uploaded this video already?
do you have link for ceiling panels you used sir? thanks for the great vid
Hi Greg my toilet exterior door slightly over the frame is it ok to cut the frame
Interested as well. Any feedback appreciated

Hope the link helps you.

the best when it comes to builds especially the shower cubicle and watts law, one quick question if that's
Possible using the online voltage calculator I know they take voltage drop into account but do they allow for ×1.25 speak about in your video
Richard Sementilli physically measured off known items such as the wheel arch or the screws I put in to secure the floor.

How many furniture board sheets did you use for the build? Would I be correct in saying they’re standard size 2440mm x 1220mm.

We used 7 boards and they are slightly oversized as they come out of the factory with unfinished raw edges that you have to trim off yourself.

I love your videos. What kind of toilet did you put in the shower area? and what are the dimensions of the inside of the shower?
I used a Thetford C200CS cassette toilet which has an electric flush and is connected to my pressurised water supply off the main water tank. The waste goes into a sealed cassette that can be emptied at many sluice services on campsites or bespoke machines installed all over Europe. th-cam.com/video/Xuz6jg9wP6c/w-d-xo.html
The internal dimensions of the shower cubicle are 950mm x 750mm at the base. It tapers slightly as you go up because the van is curved.
Hi Greg, I’m converting a sprinter and your videos are extremely helpful so many thanks! Just a quick question on your shower install, did you put a light in there and if so, did you use anything special e.g moisture resistant etc. Thanks in advance mate 👍
Watch our van tour video you will see what I did.
Used waterproof led strip above an opaque Perspex ceiling like a light box
Another great video - and yet another daft question from me! I’ve looked through all the comments so apologies if you’ve answered this already - but where is the light switch for the shower? Thanks again!
Will Parry it’s outside on the front face of the cupboard above the bench seat.
Greg Virgoe Yes of course - I see it now on your final van tour video - what is the round black fitting on the face of the cupboard and the white box on the outside of the shower wall? P.s. you’re a 🌟
Will Parry they are both vents. One keeps the cupboard cool where our DVD player is and the shower one is an extract fan
Greg Virgoe Thanks so much for the swift response - much appreciated as always!
Sorry Greg - the white box on the shower wall that I was referring to was on the outside of the shower - next to TV - is that a room thermostat?
Hi mate, when you said about the blade on your saw only being exposed enough to go through your board this creates more resistance/work for the motor as you have more teeth in contact with the work piece. The saw will cut best with the blade fully exposed, max cut depth, because less teeth will be in contact with the work piece resulting in less friction for the motor. Cheers 👍
