Ive been working on a mood board for my my future office/ guest bedroom, and i came across a beautiful apothecary cabinet image that inspired me......so i thought i would do it for cheaper! This is an EXTREME IKEA HACK youre gonna wanna see!
I took a regular Ikea Kallax shelf and made it look like a completely new piece! I love the end results and cant wait to put it to use in my future space!

This came out incredible! I love the stain with the color you chose. Have you ever sprayed stain? I’ve never done it (only seen another TH-camr do it) but wonder if it might work well for larger areas like this project had. Great job 👏🏻😍
I have not! I fee like I would only spray it if it was an outside project... This project I still feel is rather small to have to clean out my gun which is not always fun lol
otherwise lint free rags works great for me... 😊❤️
@@GlendaChavez that makes sense.. oil based stains would be a mess to clean from the gun. I hadn’t thought of that. I love oil based stains so I’d probably only try a water based stain in a sprayer but then I’d worry it isn’t pigmented enough. 🤦🏻♀️ lol

It's always so cool to see what ppl. come up with on Ikea hacks!! Just a heads up I work for a furniture co. called Ik*@.... (very strict social media rules if you get me...) Please ALWAYS call the store ahead of time to confirm inventory levels. We're still recovering getting the supply chain back in order since C@v!d & inventory levels are jacked up on our websites. Hoping all is well, Dirty Jersey out!!
You did a beautiful job! I just wish you had shown more of the reveal, like more close ups and how you get in the cabinet. It is not really apparent since there are no handles or knobs?🤷♀️

All of the hardware I added on the fronts are functional! I seem to be reaching for the first one on the stained row closest to where the doors meet on each door..
They swing open like any other door!
