God, one of the most FLAVORFUL songs in older pokemon games, but now you threw in some Paprika, Cayenne, and Chili Powder for some REAL FLAVOR for this spicy bird.

Great remix as usual! I really enjoy that you give the different segments of the song their own spin, which was especially apparent with the recent King Dedede Remix. It makes the songs a lot more timeless. The 8-bit part and the very calm fade-out were a nice touch in this one!
From the moment I saw Ho-oh in that first episode of the anime to when I played the game and actually got to fight them... I've always had a deep respect for Ho-oh. The mysteriousness and whatnot of Ho-ph's past always interested me as a kid. Ho-oh is one of the coolest Pokemon ever. Probably in my top 10. The battle theme, though... Definitely top 3. ❤️

This remix is great because not only dose it sound good it also kept the vibe of Ho oh's theme and the main melody is still viola or violin. The problem with most ho oh remixes I see/hear is that they scrap the original idea of ho oh and just blast bass and electric guitar and the whole feel of elegance is gone. Great job with maintaining the original idea.
I’ve been hoping that since they wrote a Galarian Bird theme, that it becomes somewhat of just the “Legendary Birds theme” including for the Kanto birds, and hoping Lugia gets a completely new theme with maybe an element or two from the Legendary bird theme, but also other Johto elements or even (if possible) using the melody of “Lugia’s Song” from Pokémon 2000. Or heck, using some form of the Johto surfing theme, or Ecruteak or other themes that could have significance to it. I’m sure Lugia’s theme could be completely remade using references to other themes, even if they don’t want to make an entire new theme dedicated specifically to Lugia
