    I like weather in Luang pabang better than Vientiane and South not too hot people up north little different from South little quiet not super joke as South

    I lived in Luang Prabang for a year. After a while you start to understand that it is a fake city, a trap for tourists. A few streets with restaurants and hotels. No normal shops, hospitals, gyms, nothing. A feeling of isolation, as if you live somewhere on an island.

      Going to be tough watching this channel regretting wasting a whole year in one of the coolest places in the world then cause there’s no shortage of normal priced insanely good restaurants, super friendly interesting locals, and bucket list outdoor adventures. No shops, hospitals and gyms…haha c’mon man, who you fooling with this. Come spend a little time with me brother. Think you’ll change your tune.

    Did you really learn how to read and write Lao on your own or did you take a class

      I really learned on my own and have taught others the writing system too. It’s quite intuitive and is key to learning the language.
