Incredible progression in their songwriting skills. That post-breakdown bridge into the raspy croon into the higher falsetto note. Markus was hitting a lower-octave version of the falsetto at the beginning of every previous chorus, but they held the bigger moment until the end for more impact. Bravo. I love Heroine and I love the Dark Pool, but if Thornhill was going to go for the more shoegaze-y sound this is how I wish they did it. Still melodic, ambient, and emotion but lots of technicality still.
I cannot fucking wait for this, I loved Greyview, loved the EP, and all of these singles have been incredible. Easily my front runner for album of the year.
I'm from Nova Scotia Canada. I got lucky and was recommended your video. Been jamming to the IA boys since pretty much the beginning. Before everchanger was even out. Hearing this track brought straight tears to my eyes. I've literally grew up with this band. I'm so glad they've made it as far as they have. I'm glad to see so many others feel the same as me and can literally feel the beauty that this band creates.

I will go with two of my fav bands of the moment: Ninth (they are not yet known, but they deserve attention) and Resolve! And this new single from Invent Animate is absolutely fantastic! I loved it from the first listen. Probably one of my favourite singles of 2023 so far.

About bands from my home country, difficult to say as the metalcore scene is not that big in the Netherlands. But Another Now is a band you can check out, they have quite an unique sound.

Caliban is my favorite german band. They have been at my side for a long time and I have seen them 4 times live. (Electric Callboy is the German band I am currently listen to the most. I am going to see them live next month.) Another band I really like is Callejon - their earlier stuff is soo good. Can’t say too much about the newer stuff because I haven’t listen to their newer songs that much.
Saw these guys live with ERRA last night, literally as the video just dropped and out of all 4 bands who played, Invent Animate were by far the best. They were so tight, Marcus' vocals were insane. These guys are going to take over the world and I'm here for it. I am SO STOKED for Heavener!

My favourite band from Australia is probably always gonna be Hands like Houses. Windwaker close 2nd. There's a whole mountain to choose from down here, super hard to pick. Polaris 3rd probably but really, really difficult to put them above Windwaker's last release. Depends how new Polaris goes.
Not a lot of metal bands in Brazil, I guess the most creative one I know is Odeon, they are kind of like a metal rock fusion group that has a lot of catchy songs (like "Gasoline"), definitely recommend it

As for my favorite band from my country (US), it’s close between ERRA and IA, both of which are in my top 3 overall bands and have made 2 of my top 5 favorite albums of all time, maybe top 3 (Augment and Greyview). I’m lucky that they always tour together.
