just to clarify, Trey (the drummer), wrote Luna a long time about his brother who committed suicide when he was a lot younger, way before Marcus was even in the picture. Not tryna be condescending, just clarifying. The last verse of Luna is actually Trey screaming. 👌
Purity weeps has a lot of feels too and has an amazing hook also. This is a fantastic album, 10/10 personally, and I feel like we are in a amazing time for metal music. There are a lot of passionate people making great songs. And you have such a choosing on how to craft your sound nowadays too. I’m so excited for the future.
There is a band called ice sealed eyes, they call themselves a new core band but you should check them out. They are from belgium and have a unique sound imo. The shore would be a good start. Noe has a really good voice too. A must listen.
