I need to see them again now that they sound so good live. I saw them in Birmingham Alabama at a venue called zydeco and the sub drone just killed the rest of the sound at the show. Maybe it was just the venue but I couldn’t pick up on hardly anything they were playing.
If it was super early on, they pretty much did all their producing and mastering independently, what also helps is the fact its only one guitar player so the back track is obviously the other side stage that typically a second guitarist would be at. So it's a lot cleaner since its DI to house and out bypassing the guitar-amp-house-mains. It doesn't seem like much, but it does it wonders.
