Loving the straight forwardness of your presentation. I've an 03 Mazda 2, called a Demio. Runs the same 1500cc twin cam. Having cat cut, lowered springs done. Will do bushes, engine mounts, in next month. Found 2 brand new Brembo slotted Brake rotors for 30 english pounds.
AY! Glad to see another video. Iv'e been trying to track down a M2 for a good price but people are just asking way to much for the amount of mileage of seen on them. Glad you're doing well!
Good stuff. Had to move all the way to Australia just to get my first 323 Astina(Protege 5). Now, just bought an '08 DE Genki Meteor Grey. Always wanted one when they first came out, but had a Falcon XR8 and kei car(Daihatsu Charade L250). Can't wait to spend loads of time with My 2.
My dad's 2 got some vibration in the steeringwheel at idle. Correct me if i'm wrong, but is that the cause of the wearing of the bushing you just replaced? btw good to see you are healthy in these weird times and thnaks for the content =D
Is his car otherwise stock? Does it have an AWR mount? If it’s not modified and has some vibration through the wheel, the trans or passenger engine mount (or both) could be bad.
Hello Hiroshima, I own a 2008 Mazda 2 in Egypt with an automatic transmission, but I've been unable to locate the transmission mount locally. Can you assist me in finding one?
If you're still looking for some insight on this, I just replaced the inner tie rods on my 2. You can pick up a tie rod removal/install kit as a free loaner from an auto zone, advance auto, etc. The problem in my case was the kit had did not have the proper fitting to remove the OEM inner tie rods. The workaround was to use a medium/large pipe wrench to lock on to the tie rod end. You're going to have to lie perpendicular to the tie rod (head pointing to the front of the car) and pull like hell to loosen the tie rod end. Once loosened it comes off easily. You'll still need the kit to install and tighten down to torque any aftermarket tie rod. There may be a dedicated tool to remove the OEM inner tie rod end, but I haven't looked into it after the fact.
Hey, Thanks for your tips. Let me know please something. How many km left after the E of fuel starts flashing? (like in the video) are there like 40-50km more or what? Also whats your best consumption score with one full fuel tank? more than 400km?(assume your are driving in the city traffic)
I fill up before the E starts flashing and you should too, if you can help it. Your fuel pump will thank you. Going for a “high score” with fuel economy is a game nobody is watching. In an emergency I try not to go more than 30 miles past when the E begins flashing.
Do you use or have ur mud guards, cause I would like to purchase yours😊. If not, would u happen to know an affordable website to purchase oem parts..thanx
Hey what car do you recommend me to get? I went and got a quote for a 2008 1.3 mazda 2 and I got a quote for 4k!! Please can you help me pick some cara with cheap insurance :)
It’s not necessary to support the engine while the mount is out, but using a jack to hold the weight helps with removal and install. All you need to lift the car is a regular floor jack and a pair of stands.

whats the mileage now?
Hey, Thanks for the content, I know its hard putting videos together. Ive got two 2's here in Australia. 2008 & 2018, the DE is way more fun to drive!
Thanks for the update on the roll bar, was very interested to see if your opinions had changed with use. Now to see if AWR have a UK distributer...

When the time comes for me to do that, I’m sure I will consider it.
Not sure if your going to do another video....have you done a right side Inner tie rod replacement ? Do I need a special tool ? Have a work around?

Hi, thanks for the video. Just wondering can the front side bushing ( red one) be replaced as well? Thanks
I don’t believe so, and there’s not really a reason to.
Dog bones? Intresting
At 6:10 it seems like your service light is on :D
Mine just came up do you know by any chance how to reset it ?
Thanks
It not, but my TPMS and airbag lights are.
The Mazda 2 sticker on your tool chest, where did you get it? I want one too! Lol
I made a handful to give away to people when I used to work at a print shop. It has the old channel name on it anyway.

@@HiroshimaSpirit Oow sorry i'm not check description first, thanks man~
do i need to support the engine while doing this and can i do it without jacking the car up with fancy equipment?

do you know or anyone know where that hell is the power steering fluid on Mazda 2 ?
There isn’t any. It’s electric power steering.
