    I have to admit, I'm not likely to invest in the Optimist inks. However, I have been curious about them so I appreciate you sharing what you're doing. I do have some really pretty Sennelier shellac inks. That isolation layer is giving me all kinds of ideas for other things to try as well.

    Wonderful video. As a gel printer I appreciate your tips for using these inks. I’m still on the fence about purchasing these. I wondered could you use a gloss medium instead of the matte medium?

    Can you do this technique just with acrylic paints?

      yes! Let the first image layer dry and then you can "reverse paint" directly onto the plate with acrylic, no need to add the matte medium layer first.
