Kari and Scottie had so much fun in early episodes it seems. Before it got more "produced" and they started to care more about "insurance company doesn't let us do this".
the show certainly took a down turn in quality as it got into the later seasons. everyone is soooo wooden and scripted. the original producer was much much better
The more I am watching Mythbusters the more I am tired of Adam… impatience, tantrums, jokes that are much less funny than he thinks, his effing british accent that he thinks is so cool and the Ice Age Sid voice which he thinks must sound hilarious…
I agree. I've recently been 'binging' mythbuster to find episodes I missed. Adam comes across as a 'prize plonker', at best. I like Jamie more than Adam. But I can appreciate the producers wanting 'dynamic energy' ('Tigger'). Adam was also irritatingly impetuous (act, then think), or over-complicated designs. Adam's misuse of "Perfect" (for 'plenty good enough'), or "totally" (for 'plenty' or 'enough') wears thin. Scottie, Grant, Tory and Kari were more likeable, and seemed easier to work with. Adam's 'Jamie impersonation' gets increasingly annoying. In retrospect I'm impressed Jamie didn't find Adam's face irresistibly punchable. Given the dangerous machines they built, it feels Adam was fortunate to escape without 'accident', if Jamie had been less professional or stoic, . Best Wishes. ☮
@@myztklk3v Thank you for replying. I understood Adam had worked for Jamie, but until now, I'd imagined the producers had added the 'Tigger' element to make the show more entertaining. Learning Jamie figured it out, and took action, further enhances his qualities in my view of him. Thanks for the 'Intel'. Best Wishes. ☮
@@myztklk3v I'm pretty sure it was the other way round. Adam was the one the producers pitched the show too, and he suggested his former boss Jamie as a second presenter. He talks about it in a tested video
@@gbulmer it's very important to realise that while Jamie and Adam did have elements of this, and certainly rubbed each other up the wrong way a couple of times, there actually conflicts and personality clashes where deliberately focused on by the reality show producers who ran the show, especially in early seasons, where they basically invited on the two having an argument every episode- and Adam badmouthing Jamie while they are buying parts here is obviously completely invented to satisfy theta requirement. He was obviously asked at one point by the producers what he hates most about Jamie, and they basically got him to repeat it every episode to create a false sense of drama. once the show took off and they started getting creative control, Adam and Jamie refused to do this anymore because it was crass reality tv.
I hate to tell her, but there was no internet in 1987..

"Explosure...?"
Yeah, my question too.
My theory is that channel is just ai recycling Mythbusters episodes.
Or someone uploaded the video with a device that had auto-incorrect enabled. Well you never know, I just enjoy the show!
Yeah, I mean, you can't ask much from basically pirated content.
@@johndsdevblogs Fair point.
I forgot they used to get a "myth expert" in the earlier seasons lol. So pointless xd
they were laying the foundation n trying things out to see what would work..
Please upload the "MythBusters Mini Myths" series! I can't find it anywhere but Amazon.
"Explosive"
Dude just changing the name's of episode's 😅😅😅😅
"Cadillac, the most luxurious of its kind"... naaa... 😂

@@gbulmer Jamie brought Adam on personally because he knew he couldn't carry the show himself. Adam is a showman, Jamie is not.
