Did I overpay for this lot of NOS Trifari & Kenneth Jay Lane costume jewelry? My eBay name is Thrifthunter4you My store: Thrifthunter.shop I buy silver & gold jewelry & coins/watches.
KJL at 3:45 May be a convertible. The center piece of the chameleon might pop out and be flipped over for a rhinestone look. Not sure, so don’t force it. The shoe in the pink box might be .925. It was a breast cancer charity piece.
Hi Logan. Good luck with the jewelry. Hopefully, they will be quick sale. I bet that you are really glad that you aren't working at the bank any longer. This must be a lot more fun even if the pay is more sporadic. 😀 I try to pick up brooches whenever I find them inexpensively. I've been lucky a few times. I bought a large plastic tub full of costume jewelry hoping to find some gold/silver but knowing that I could sell the low level jewelry at my garage sale. I will definitely get my money back but I found only about 2 pieces of sterling.
Oh yeah things have been much better than back then. These costume pieces I used to find for $1 or $2 but not so much anymore. I think I paid up for these but it's the perfect condition that matters, collectors with big money can afford to be real picky about that. Thanks
80s/90s is vintage now lol. This stuff is definitely newer than I prefer as well but it's the names people want. Even just for having these pieces in my store will bring plenty of traffic.
Incredible auction wins 🎉
Beautiful jewelry, great buy! ❤
That rooster is lovely and I like the coral branch brooches too.
