They charge 500 because it’s a residential/liftgate. Most company’s show you prices that don’t include that…. That said, I called to see if I can get the price reduced since I don’t need those services and was told it was complimentary and that the price was the same regardless. I work for a LTL company and can tell you no trucking company does that for free. Haven’t ordered the table saw yet and won’t until there daily prices are low enough we free shipping offer.
I notice that the shipment fee is $500 I just wonder why it’s so much, every other company charge between $259- $329. Don’t you think this can effect sales?
All our products are shipped directly from Southern California, unlike other companies that ship from various vendor locations. This distribution method allows those companies to offer lower shipping costs when shipping within the same state. In contrast, shipping from California to the East Coast typically costs more than $500, but we cap this fee at $500 to prevent higher charges. Hope this brings some clarity.
