- The updated A7 Sportback has a few changes but maintains it's versatility. Under the hood is a 3.0L V6 turbocharged engine producing 335HP & mated to a 7-speed DCT transmission. The A7's exterior has some refreshed updates including a revised front fascia, wheels and rear bumper. On the inside you will be greeted to high end materials, new technology and tons of space. Is the updated 2020 Audi A7 Sportback worth the price?

Yup the rear seats in a BMW 6 series gran coupe is smaller and less nice but this is the better version of that car
A7's body lines, especially the sweeping roof line across the sportback, is still unbeatable at this point.

Just bought this bad boy! Second day of ownership! Mine is also glacier white, but with the black high gloss package which gives it black mirrors. I’m loving this car! I upgraded from a B9 A4 which I loved.

@@AcesMR6 Hey. Ok, I've owned the car for 3 years this June. Pros - a) stunning looks. b) Extremely practical, especially if you don't want an SUV c) quiet, luxurious and very spacious - it's very well appointed d) It feels special and stands out, especially in a world full of SUVs. It also drives and handles very well.
Cons: a) reliability - I had transmission issues within the first year of ownership that were fixed by warranty. However, I'm very time poor so this was a hassle for me. b) Some build quality issues - rattle in the accelerator and driver's window, also fixed by warranty c) Very noticeable turbo lag when you plant your foot down. Not really an issue with normal driving.
Would I buy again? probably, although I have been considering an 8 series and a Panamera. However, considering the cost of those cars, especially the Porsche, I would stick with the A7 or even an S7.
Lastly, NEVER buy an Audi out of warranty. If you cannot afford to maintain, go for something else.

Starting price for the A7 is 69k, S7 89k and RS7 114k so I guess the sport package plus options pushed the price to 89k.

Maybe when you get to the interior and announce the price, you could also add what you would be cross shopping and comparing it to.
Example like “so you’re probably asking how much this is. It’s listed here at 80,000 dollars. What competitor models would you be looking at if you were looking at this? The bmw blah Volvo blah etc etc. “
Or could also add at the beginning when “so let’s talk about Audi. . .”

Great review!! A little scary watching you driving but I know you are a pro. Definitely a great car, it has everything you'll want in a car but it's a lot short when it comes to performance at that price point. I'm going to zonk the price 😁.
I'd suggest having your camera person sit in the back so we can see the front center area better and without unnecessary glare being reflected off the screens.

Older body style looks so much better! I have 1. This body style just kinda looks somewhat buick-icky to me not as sleek as the old model . Now the new rs7 is a different story. I love it!

Yes, that’ll be a great deal but you’ll be missing out on all latest technology. If that’s not an issue, then the last gen can be a blast.

For those that don’t know: the Audi RS 7's base engine makes 591 horsepower, and the Audi S7 base engine makes 444 horsepower. The RS 7 is rated to deliver an average of 17 miles per gallon, with a highway range of 405 miles. The S7 is rated to deliver an average of 22 miles per gallon, with a highway range of 502 miles.

They got the motor rotation in the proper orientation, but its probably still a FWD biased. $89K, holy shit. Big zonk. The R8 used to be just $115 a few years ago. Can’t image what the S and the RS would cost.

Love it! How does the driving experience of A7 Sportback compare with the A5 Sportback? In terms of acceleration, sound, throttle response, and gearshift.
Pretty much the safe. The A5 felt a little more composed not both great driving cars.
7:36 Joes Sexy Lid - I’ve noticed on several US Audi’s there isn’t a cup holder cover which looks untidy. The A7 and Q8 outside US comes with a cover. Weird.

So the A7 is one inch wider than a 5 series and you call it a full size sedan, um ok. Inside looks like a total finger print magnet with 2 screens and all that gloss black on the dash. At MSRP 89 grand I just don't see the appeal. I'd rather keep my loaded 2020 540i MSport MSRP ~76K and pocket the 13 grand diff for the next sled. I think BMW is way more lease friendly as well, with some really good lease cash and conquest offers. A6/A7/A8 has yet to win me over vs BMW 5 and 7 series.

G80 is nice at the front end. But it's not at the league of an A7. When you're rolling in a G80 you're doing good, but in the A7, you're boss.

inSAYn more features than a German car. At least the same price range. To get the same features the 2020 Hyundai has you have to pay top dollar in a german car
Chance first of all, if you have to pay top dollar for a premium product. Secondly, you can’t really compare Hyundais with German cars, sure they have nice interiors and some crazy tech for the money, but in terms of driving dynamics, engine, transmission and exquisiteness, German cars are far better. I’d rather get a 4 year old luxury car for the same price as a Hyundai.
