It is just so unbelievably satisfying and fascinating seeing a over 50 years old car in such pristine and clean condition. Really never gets old. One of my favourite type of detail videos. Awesome video Larry!
Wow wow wow! Andy Hill has been a firemen at a bunch of different departments. We have had many conversations about life and being a gentlemen. He actually got me into detailing years ago. He recently retired and the last time I saw him about 3 years ago he told me he was starting a car business which was a very deep passion of his. Now he’s on Ammo, well done Andy very proud to call you a friend!
I'd take a Superbird over a Lambo/Ferrari any day of the week. These cars are so rare and incredible looking that you really can't put it into words or a dollar figure on it.
I absolutely love the Superbird and Charger Daytona, 'presence' is the perfect word. Great job, it looks amazing. I wish we had more homoligation specials now, imagine the beasts we could have on the road.
Not as nice of a rides as you guys restore you take cars that most people would say Are more trouble than they are worth it and you prove them wrong keep doing what you do CT
This is a crazy rare car, when I was on the bus going home from school, I saw one of these just sitting in a garage and I couldn't take my eyes off it. Beautiful car.
I have been detailing since 1977 started at a local dealership near my home . Had a old school body man there mentored me on a rotary polisher helping him in the evening I have been detailing and paint correction ever since. There are 4 You tubers in my opinion that are informative and there production quality is spot on Your one of the 4 people Young people today need to know more of step by step processes to make the vehicle POP! Great work 👍
Old cars have so much charisma and presence. They had soul unlike all the generic cars of today that are no doubt miles ahead of these in terms of comfort and reliability but they are a commodity, a tool to get from A to B.
It's really good that people have the money to collect amazing cars like these and preserve a piece of history. As they saying goes, they don't make them like they used to and some of these old designs are just incredible.
You should look into acoustic panels for your studio or look for someone that could help you put them in key spots to try and stop the noise from bouncing off the walls so much, your ears will really appreciate it, keep up the amazing work!
Some of my Dad's favorite stories are about detailing cars as a teen and having people let him drive the cars, specially the Chiropractors Corvette. We are both named Larry but that is not why I have been following your methods since you were on the Drive channel. Thank you, Larry!
Would be so badass if you had a start up and maybe even a rev clip of the cars you detail, would be another thing to look forward to when watching these gems.
What an experience to be able to go back in time with this car! You did a stellar job too! Looks just gorgeous! I was 5 yrs lid when this car was born and remember seeing them in dealerships! Very few and far between but they we're there.
Yes, thanks. Interestingly,my 1970 CORONET 500/loaded/RalleynRed Black Vinyl, was some $3100.00 full , I am thinking the SULERBIRDS WERE many times a lot more, besides I did not really like them, seeing one in downtowns parked…..I think some dealers redone ,& discounted , anything to move them later on .. to long, etc.
I don’t know how you can use the term bar find for a superbird that was owned by someone and lovingly stored for years. That term has come to mean nothing anymore.
Yeah, detailing youtubers are clickbaiting us with "barn finds" so often every car in a garage is a "barn find". I saw some guy throw some dust and hay over an E30 and call it a "barn find", just for content and views.
The thing about real barn finds, is that they shouldn’t be detailed. They should be kept original because the idea is they have been sitting unmolested for years. Otherwise they are just project cars that need work.
Great job Larry. This car looks great. This car is really an accumulation of everything a muscle car was striving to be, it was the top of the mountain before the eventual decline of power and style that would occur in the 1970s
Ive watch your channel for years, ive seen you clean basic every day cars to legendary ones like the F40, but this one, ive never clicked so fast on a video
Up until a few years ago, where I live there were a couple of guys that had matching super birds. They would regularly drive them on the weekends and park beside each other when they would park. It was an amazing sight to see 😁
I remember when I was a kid a guy in my hometown of Barnwell, SC had a neon green one that he drove around town. It turned heads even back then, and they still do today.
Just wow.. every video you release now is just so well done! I can't believe the production quality and entertainment you keep putting out! Looked like such a fun job! One thing I think would be cool to see in one video would be like a clock to show the actual detail time throughout the job. The videos being so well edited make it feel like its so easy and i know that its not! Thanks again for the amazing content Larry! - Paul
My superbirds regularly go three years between washes but that’s because I’m lazy. We drive ours all over, though. I work with high end cars every day, too, and you’re absolutely right that birds get more eyes every time.
Today we are using detailing brushes and dedicated soaps coated with knoledge on these awesome pieces, back in the 80's it was probably washed with a floor broom dipped in a dishsoap and tapwater bucket.
I'm 63 and had a chance to buy one when I was 18 it would have been my 1st car. My dad took one look and that was the end of that. I did wind up with a 1970 Charger SE instead I loved that car wish I still had it.
When it comes to smiles per mile she is the winner, Id probably need a 4 meter extention to my mancave to get both ends of her in, BUT, wouldnt it be worth it.......... Love it !!
My grandpa has a 03 Ford Lightning that has been just sitting on the side of the garage that just sits there and only runs when it’s been a while, I was looking to get it fully detailed for him to show him the love I have for the truck and can’t wait for it to be mine one day! Only thing wrong with it is the guy that re painted it with 2 shades of black on it now the truck looks weird tbh but thankfully it still runs great
Hearing loss comes later in life. Abuse in youth will show in your 50’s. You will likely have some but wearing protect now and forward helps minimize. Young guys, protect yourself. You WILL pay in future. Don’t be the tough guy.
I've worn ear protection from day one detailing, vacuums and polishers are really loud, especially in close proximity and for long periods of time, I don't understand why more people don't bother.

I had the honor of seeing one of these up close and personal a few years ago. Incredible machine.
I'd take a Superbird over a Lambo/Ferrari any day of the week. These cars are so rare and incredible looking that you really can't put it into words or a dollar figure on it.
Stuff like this is sooo much better than any show on network tv. Great job Larry I always learn something

Regular non-car people: "wow, you're really looking after it!"
At the start I was like - that’s not even dirty, but then what Larry did to it - amazing!
That’s what it’s all about car fans!
I love your genuine enthusiasm and appreciation for this rare bird. High-dollar exotics are special but wing cars are next-level bonkers.
I liked the video before i even watched it. Thats how good this guy is he never disappoints
Love the channel. As an ex Tomb Guard, I find detailing and polishing cars cathartic. Your eye for detail and commitment to the craft is exemplary.
Stay behind the chains lol

Coolest car seen seen on this channel. More quirky cars like this rather than super cars.
Some of my Dad's favorite stories are about detailing cars as a teen and having people let him drive the cars, specially the Chiropractors Corvette. We are both named Larry but that is not why I have been following your methods since you were on the Drive channel. Thank you, Larry!
I could not agree more with you- this car did indeed turn out absolutely amazing! Wonderful job ! Keep up the great work Bud!
1960s / 70s muscle cars 😍
A guy down the road from me has one in white and surprisingly drives it regularly, such a badass ride!
WHAT. A. CAR. Thanks for bringing us Larry!!
OMG, I love you man. Most people will never understand the techniques you describe.
At first I was like how could you make this look better it looks great already! Thanks for always proving me wrong , wow that pops insanely
I would KILL for that garage. I know people say that as an expression, but I would literally KILL FOR THIS garage. wow.

I don’t know how you can use the term bar find for a superbird that was owned by someone and lovingly stored for years. That term has come to mean nothing anymore.

Yeah really anoying, because real barn finds ar extremely satisfying to see beeing detailed
If you want real barn finds go visit WD Detailing, they often have real cars that have been neglected for a long time

Saw two of these side by side manual and auto at a show recently, but the paint on this one is just unreal deep. Amazing detail.

One of my all time favorite cars! It'd just so long, aerodynamic, and fast for it's time. It completely changed aerodynamics in NASCAR
