Haha, as a Dutch person I have a lot of respect for you for traveling to the Netherlands for this ;) I mean, the Dutch culture is beautiful and with Portugal, Dutch football is certainly the best football in Europe after the top five competitions and if you go to a match in the Eredivisie, then the level of the match can be very good. But you just voluntarily go to the second competition in the Netherlands and the level there can sometimes be very low haha. Which, by the way, I really like. I do think that we have a very nice football culture in the Netherlands and it is nice to see that you are a fan of it. If you are ever in the north of the Netherlands again, there will soon be a fun amateur derby on the program that will attract many spectators ;)
The medieval town of Den Bosch is the provincial capital of Noord-Brabant. It has approximately 160,000 inhabitants, but is smaller in size than Eindhoven, Tilburg and Breda. The local FC was founded in 1967 and has played in the eredivisie around half a dozen seasons. The amateur predecessor was Dutch champion in 1948. Some Dutch internationals have played there but the famous one is clearly Ruud van Nistelrooij, a local lad from the village of Geffen. Another claim to fame is being on the receiving end of a magnificent bicycle kick by Marco van Basten!!
Thank you so much for visiting our little town and De Koel so everyone can see how unique this stadium is and that our side keeps on singing even tho we're losing every week. There's a lot of clubs in the top now where they only sing when they're winning.
@@seanmeester9034and substitute them with what teams? Or would they continue play with 16 teams? Non of the tweede divisie clubs want to join because it would be an economic and logistical nightmare for most, if not all.
Last two home matches for den bosch were amazing. Den bosch de graafschap with a pyro and celebrating the period titel. last home match against vitesse with a corteo and a tribute to the liberators. a match with a clash between home and away fans. I hope to see you soon in den bosch but the matches probably won't be as beautiful as the last two.although I certainly hope so
Can you please visit RBC Roosendaal? RBC is a dutch club that plays in the 4th league of dutch football. but back in the days RBC was realy big. they played 1st divison and Eredivisie for like 50 years but becouse of financial issues they got relegatet to the 8th division in dutch football and now in 2024 they play 4th division and slowly climbing back to paid football, they got a nice stadium with an capacity of 5000 seats and an away section. and in 1986 they reached the dutch KNVB cup final. the 2nd biggest thophie in the netherlands. so it would be cool if you made a video about RBC Roosendaal. becouse they are very famous in the Netherlands and have a rich history.
Your Dutch fc videos are great, im planning to tick most of them of next year, starting with feyenoord in a few weeks. I’m excited for Den Haag!! Glad I found your videos
I've recently been to KV Mechelen in Belgium and I highly recommend a visit if you havent been already! They're in top form with a straightforward style of play and fantastic atmosphere by the fans!! Stadium is underrated (apart from the smallest stand). Important to note that visibilty may be limited in the family stand (block G) in Tribune 2.
You should go and watch Kettering town as they have the most goals in the fa cup . They also have a great atmosphere in the seventh tier of football. Kettering town also has an ex premier league player
It may be interesting to do one where some side like Den Bosch with ultras goes to play a Jong side just to see what goes on. Brilliant stuff you do on Dutch and Belgian football.
Fun fact; The train station is build with the sand that was collected from the ground where the stadium is. Therefore forming a ditch. Later they made it into a football pitch, and the stands formed it's way during the following years. The old stadium is only 250 meters down the road, De Kraal. Which itself is even closer to the border. Only the old stands are visible. But the team uses this ground as a training field. I also saw some of the lads in the vid 😎
You forgot to tell that this river, the same river 😅 , leads to Den Bosch ... ...see you on the 17th of November at RBC - SV ORION .. ..when RBC takes the lead in the 4th Division! 🎉😅
Why bro, im from IJmuiden and we never sing any good chants unfortunately. Even though we overpreform which im happy about. I still hope he goes to a good game for Telstar.
As a Fc Groningen fan, living in Venlo i was there aswell! i didnt see you! quite sad cause day before the match i was watching your vids aswell thinking, when do i see him.. not knowing u we're there at vvv - den bosch aswell.. :(
