0:35 this is where the Nissan First Aid Kit goes. Nice quick project!!! Man, some of the nuts are looking crusty. I guess tailgates and their hardware are prone to corrosion exposure. Have you thought of using LEDs as replacements?
I think I will get it rust sprayed this year. I was actually messing with LED headlights today. A company sent them to me for review. They are crazy bright, but they render the day time running lights useless (no longer work). So I put the review on hold. They sent the anti-flicker adaptor, but those didn't help. Ill have to dig into how the Pathfinder operates the Day Time Run lights to get the wiring corrected.
Just finshed doing on wifes 05’ driver side with that sound barrier was a pain in the 🍑, but up and running, thought about going at it from outside, but hard to get philips in there, unless u know how to pop off that chrome nissan cover plate?
You don't need to pull the panel off, unscrew the phillips head on the outside, and push the whole light assembly to one side. It'll pop out, and then you can replace the bulb.
No I have not winterized it yet. The water is really cold, 18 Celsius which is about 65 Fahrenheit, but the kids are still swimming in it for some reason. I winterized it last year myself rather than paying someone, it was pretty straight forward.

@@DIYNorth sounds like a plan!

I might try that option next time
194 ? Bulb
I think that a few will fit. 194, 168, 2825, all have the same base type apparently.
They differ in light output. Haven't tested it though.
Random question: Did you winterize your pool yet or have a couple more weeks of swimming there?

It's not the easiest bulb to replace.
