I can assure you, DEI is not needed. I come from a state where DEI is used. This guy sounds like a plant. Get rid of participation trophies and keep things the way they are.
Kid has nothing but generalities and platitudes to share. How does he know he wouldn’t be where he is without the DEI office? What EXACTLY did they do for him? And equally important, was the school ultimately helping him but not helping students of other backgrounds? This whole story is shrouded with big unanswered questions.
@lynne4948 that is a stupid comment... They all gave their lives and riches up to create this country. Your ignorance is mind boggling. You're a perfect example of the failed education system, that you don't even know the history of this country...
"Before, I didn't know anything about my opportunities in higher ed as a Latino. Now, I know words like 'intersectional' and how to use them in talking points thanks to the DEI program..."
The guy speaking in the Zoom call says about the DEI resolution..."where I get concerned..." when talking about supporting it, actually translated means "I completely support this resolution, but scared shitless of the mob coming after me, so trying to play it both ways here".
He was there but someone else was denied. Possibly someone who worked hard to get the chance... only to be denied because they chose someone else based merely on "personal identity traits".

We should help all the poor people, no matter what race they are.
D E I is D U M B
why is it dumb?
Love the irony @@yogurthands7224
@ DEI discriminates against anyone who isn’t black or brown. The recent lawsuits have been shown to prove that.
Not true! Women, LGBT+, Veterans, Neurodiversity
Just like this comment 😂!
I wonder where KTVB stands on this issue…
Good deal!!!

Idaho is one of the last places where sanity still rules.
guess this shyt isnt going away any time soon.
DEI is retribution, nothing more. Sticking it for perceived wrongdoings, and perhaps frustration at an inability to make things happen for themselves.
Idaho really is the deep-south of the northwest
Indeed. It's enjoyed the dubious distinction of being the Northern-most Southern state.
Is that why everyone is moving there? Blue states are in shambles.
Then don't come here. No one is forcing you to.
@@Patrick-k9q born and raised here. Working class and can't afford to move somewhere better.
Yeah because people who preach this DEI agenda come from California with tons of money and will destroy your quality of life
