Thanks for watching the video How striving to be, ABOVE AVERAGE changed Mark Lewis’, JOB, OUTLOOK & LIFE I Gone Running Podcast - กีฬา
Even though I describe myself as 'lamppost to lamppost' runner, I'd buy a T-shirt with that "if I see a finish line..." text on it 😂
..... We're sprinting! Glad you enjoyed the Episode Meria, don't forget to subscribe to 'Gone Running' wherever you listen to your pods! :)
The best no ego interviewer ever! As long as Mark was 'hitting the mark' he let him crack on. Fab job"
He is a n inspiration and so darn funny. I love when he posts a new video.
He's so good isn't he, our notifications are on as well!
I've enjoyed watching many of Marks videos and this is an interesting interview to explore his journey further.
What a story hey Andrew, we can't wait to see what Mark does next! Glad you enjoyed the conversation, plenty more on the channel to get stuck into! :)
Have been following Mark from his early days and he is a great comedian.
So so funny!
Thanks for this! Mark got me off the couch to running a 5K a few times a week. I relate to his "Above Average" mantra.
great interview/podcast! Mark is extremely inspiring, funny and wise.
Commenting for the algorithm, thanks for the video
I get it, a sprint finish is fun. Last weekend I did a run, where we did 6,8km each hour, for 8 hours (like a BYU, but with a maximum distance), when I saw the end of my last lap, I sprinted, flung my arms in the air as I air as I crossed the finish line. I finished my last lap about 20 minutes after the first person, but in my mind I had won (it was 2x further than I had ever ran before).
haha, brilliant - a sprint finish at a BMU is NEXT LEVEL!!! Congratulations on your race!
Recently found marks channel. A joy to watch / listen.
Thanks for having him on.
And thank you for listening and watching Tim, Marks absolutely AMAZING!
Great interview. He’s a very entertaining chap and a power for good.
That sprint finish should have been accompanied by The Distance by the band Cake!
The title should be "TH-camr interviews himself"
Be watching Mark for a good while , really enjoy his presentation and great wit … he’s been a great inspiration to me and my running, just ran my longest run along the coast path here in Cornwall 20 k taking what would have been podium finish 3rd in over 60 ..on 90 odd Parkruns one of the first things I look at when the results email comes in is am I above average
He's brilliant Isn't he, make sure to check out more inspirational conversations on our channel too! And keep smashing those runs, we hope to see you at an event soon :)
Great interview!
We're so happy you enjoyed it, make sure to Subscribe for more :)
Learn to ski. Ski every day. Ski out every door. Classic , skate or SpikeBoarding Skiing. There is nothing like skiing on land. Nothing. You either learn to ski or you are average. You either learn to roller ski or you are quite average. Period full stop. Why? Ask your body that simple question. How? "Hey body, have I been fully body activating you daily, weekly and yearly the three mechanisms, strength, endurance plus balance which you are imbued with and use them all three at once during flow state?" If you do not ski on a daily basis your body will answer quite simply. "yes." or "no." Average people do not roller ski. Only the worlds best skiers classic and skate roller ski. Only two men on the planet have mastered SpikeBoarding Skiing. Skiing is skiing. Ski every day. Ski out every door no matter the conditions. If you can ski snow. So be it. If not, no matter. If the conditions are not right for classic and skate roller skiing, then chose SpikeBoarding Skiing. SpikeBoarding is the lowest challenge and the least complicated. It's the breast stroke of skiing comparatively speaking to swimming. Skate and Classic skiing are as hard if not harder than butterfly swimming. A tiny fraction of you reading this will ever step up to classic and skate roller skiing well. 99.5% of all skiers do not roller ski. 90% of all skiers walk on snow and hardly glide. Why? Skiing is the most demanding sport on earth. Skiing with one board on each foot will forever require the ultimate dedication and poses the biggest challenge. Skiing on one board will always be the simplest way. But what ever you decide. Never forget that on land, only one set of kinetics demands strength, endurance plus balance at once. Skiing. 99% of humans only develop strength and endurance. Most asked about the mechanism of balance exclaim, "I have no balance," as they giggle. No one would ever giggle at not having sufficient strength to walk up stairs. Next to no one understands skiing. Why? Because 99% of everyone is average. Skiing, all forms of skiing are never for average people. Of all skiing forms, SpikeBoarding Skiing is the most basic simple and accessible. Skiing history is the oldest of all man made kinetics. Humans walk and then run and then ski in that historical order. Skiing predates paddling by 3000 years. Ski every day. Stop being average. Only the few will ever ski.
