Maybe you could video series with Phily Bowden with the end video of you pacing her to her goal time which is near 2:28-2:27 I believe. With you leading I'm thinking it would be worth over 1 min for the marathon.
@@justalilbester In her post Houston race video she mentions using a pacer to help her break some time standard. She ran alot of that race solo in the second half. Content and helping; perfect stuff!!
Mark has the point with the intro's. James Bond was a good example, however I would say watch old 80's and 90's tv shows from the US. They had a sort of sizel real of the show at the beginning of every episode. It presents a hook for the audience.
Doesn't put it on a pedestal. Ok Mr Duckpond xD Cool video, I quite like seeing a professional and a casual athlete sharing their thoughts with eachother.
Nick I need some help lol. So I signed up for the Illinois half marathon how many times before the race should I run the 13 miles. The race is in April and what is a good remedy for shin splints.
You shouldn't be getting shin splints while running! If your shins/calfs are sore during a run, you are about to be injured. Maybe you are trying to do too much too fast (I did this at the start, everyone prob does. Try reducing training volume) or not stretching/warming up enough. Prob need to strengthen your calfs too, do some calf raises! If the shin splints persist or get worse, see a physio. They are expensive, but a session or two is worth it in my opinion, to prevent getting a worse injury
MrBeast totally unknown to me and had to check it out. Really really really annoying with all the flashing images, noises and background music. I'd much rather watch videos from Nick and Mark.
Great of you to spend time with your elders :)
Hey two legends on the same you tube video! Awesome, very entertaining. Thanks.
Thank you for this guys. Two people that I really look forward to watching, with great engagement content. Motivational and enjoyable. Cheers both
Love this colab! You should also do a video with Ben Parkes :)
Two UK based running TH-cam legends - good stuff.
Dam that was some great advice. Ive just started creating videos so this was an eye opener.
18:56 Mark is very good at learn and being humble enough to know he needs to learn
He's a plant chomper though and scorns the carnivore diet.
My two favorite running channels, awesome!
2 of the best people on TH-cam and in the fitness community.
I would love a "This Messy Happy" episode ;) With Ben and Mary. Or another great one is The Plant Powered Runner.
Great suggestion!

Great thinking!! She’s definitely capable of it!!

Thanks 🫶🏻 appreciate your kind words!
Can’t wait for the handicapped race with Mark!

Just goes to show how that initial hook is so key at this day and age.
Doesn't put it on a pedestal.

Great video - I'm loving Jack Reacher
Nice 👌. How about a chat with Jog On Harry?! ParkRun promoting legend.
This will be GOOD!!!
Enjooooy 🙌🏻 hope you find it just as useful as I did!
Handicap sounds good, but you need to get as many running or fitness youtubers together as possible
RIP Kiptum ❤
Woke up to that news. Truly awful! Thanks to everything he has given us in the running world. Even with this very short time with us ❤️

Depends how experienced you are. 2-3 quality longer runs near that milage would be good.

Ty
Definitely wasn’t warming up enough
You forgot the "up" in the title!😮
Thanks for the head ‘UP’ 🙌🏻
@@justalilbesterI just assumed catching was a UK term.
Mark's 'kipchoge' pace was actually slower than Nick's 5k pace
Chat with Eliud Kipchoge?
I’ll ask him next first pump 👊🏻 🐐

He manages a 'better than average' 3 syllables for 'athlete'.
Rip Kelvin Kiptum
how tall you are ?
185cm which is 6ft 1
Literally listening to this after hearing the Kelvin Kiptum news, and then you mentioned him. Huge loss to the running world.
Devastating news mate. Just heard it now. He blessed us with some incredible performances with his short time here. ❤️
