After two years of research I have found the source of the back footwell leak. It was coming from the front glass window on my Peugeot 107. In my case was not the rubber seal around the door but the sweep trim seal on the glass. Water then used to trickle in from inside the door and fall from the base of the plastic panel right on the top of the door seal, fooling anybody and leading to think water gets in from the door rubber seal. If you have the leak and do not remove the plastic front door panel you cannot understand if it is coming from the rubber seal or the trim sweep seal glass window.
The glass drop seal is not water tight, it deflects most of the water, but water can pass and drop into the inner door, it will then drop to the bottom and come out of the drain holes, which you can see if you look on the underside of the door. if the bottom of the door is not pressing tight enough onto the door seal it will leak into the car. Thanks for the great information👍🏻👍🏻🛠
This is the problem I've got on my front passenger door. Water runs down the window into the door and drips down onto the big hole where the door speaker should be. I've added speakers and now it drips onto the speaker which obviously isn't acceptable. Going to try adding some rubber to the bottom of the glass to try to redirect the water forward, hopefully it will then drip onto the bottom and out through the hole.
Thanks so much. Very informative. My wife has a Vauxhall Tigers B with water ingress at bottom on driver's side behind seat which seems to be coming from door seal at the bottom. Will try adjusting the door latch as per your suggestion.

Hello from Portugal. I've found your vids searching for stuff about Toyota Aygo. I have a dead headlight bulb and a yellow warning diagnostic in the panel. What could it be? Just the dead bulb, lamda exhaust sensor, something else? I disconnected the battery for a bit and that yellow warning is gone. Regards
I want to change the headlight bulb, my hands are not small and I have to unmount the bumper. My problem is that the bumper has no bloody screws, it looks like it has plastic lids, black circular plastic taps or covers, I don't know the name of it nor how to take it off, cause I'm afraid I can break it.

Where is the best place to buy the seals. People are selling door ones each for like 30-40 quid each. Surely there is cheaper places, its just a bit of rubber.

Hey man. My Ferrari 458 has this issue and I can’t figure out where the hell its coming from. Any other suggestions what I can do? I’ll try the silicone later but In the evenings I get a carpet of water build up on the glass
I think you need to sell the 458 and buy a 107 😂😂 Thanks for the great comments👍🏻👍🏻🛠
aaanton11 haha I’ll sell one of alloys and get one
Hello from Portugal. I've found your vids searching for stuff about Toyota Aygo. I have a dead headlight bulb and a yellow warning diagnostic in the panel. What could it be? Just the dead bulb, lamda exhaust sensor, something else? I disconnected the battery for a bit and that yellow warning is gone. Regards
I think you have a blown bulb, thanks for the great comments 👍🏻👍🏻🛠
I want to change the headlight bulb, my hands are not small and I have to unmount the bumper. My problem is that the bumper has no bloody screws, it looks like it has plastic lids, black circular plastic taps or covers, I don't know the name of it nor how to take it off, cause I'm afraid I can break it.
Thank you so much ♥
Thanks for the great comments 👍🏻👍🏻😊

Hi mate,
I have a citreon c1 and have tried steps in this video with no luck, i need a new seal but for a genuine one I'm looking at £110, is there anywhere I can get them cheaper? Can't find them on eurocarparts
Reg is: NY07 DFJ
Passenger side
Thanks for video mate😁
Heres one that will work, amzn.to/3guUS2C Links are in the description, including lengths needed Thanks for the great comments👍🏻👍🏻🛠
@@aaanton11 Thank you for such a quick response, I will go ahead and buy some now! Very helpful 😁
The fuel flap is sticking out from the body work slightly on my 107 how do I fix this? Just bought it and it came like that.
Does the filler cap fit correctly or is just the flap that sits proud, thanks for the great comments 👍🏻👍🏻
The filler cap (the inside one that locks) fits perfectly it’s just the flap that sticks out
@@aaanton11 Still not figured why my flap sticks out but I did have a major leak in my boot, so followed your vid and it worked perfectly, just going to do the door seals next for extra piece of mind :)
Great.... How do you fill the car with smoke to see where the leak is?
I saw in the auto tv show with Ed China
You need a smoke machine, amzn.to/49LWXCo Thanks for the great comments👍🏻👍🏻🛠
@@aaanton11 thanks mate
I've got water pooling behind the seats. I think it's the crappy back windows
Thanks for the great information👍🏻👍🏻🛠
@@aaanton11 there is no videos on doing the back windows.
I have fixed the door leak by taking the sealand of tuning IT 90 degrees and putting IT back.
Thanks for the great information👍🏻👍🏻🛠
Great video. My daughters C1 leaks round the door and ends up 8n the back feet well. I’m going to try the sealant fix first. Do I just get it from a car shop. If that doesn’t work I will try the flexing the doors. If I need to get a new seal, do I have to go to a dealership. Your help would be most appreciated. It’s a 57 plate, so very basic, but she is having a baby so I can’t have a damp car. Thanks in advance.😊😊
You can get new seals from EUROCAR parts, thanks for the great comments 👍🏻👍🏻🛠
Where is the best place to buy the seals. People are selling door ones each for like 30-40 quid each. Surely there is cheaper places, its just a bit of rubber.
There is a link in the description to Amazon you can pick up a set much cheaper than that Thanks for the great comments👍🏻👍🏻🛠
@@aaanton11 OK cheers mate
