Creede, Colorado - The Last Chance Mine - Our latest visit

Jack has been busy. What an amazing amount of work has been done since our last visit a few years ago. Jack's passion for passing on the history of this mine and mining in general is unbounded. Be sure to spend time in the on-site museum, in the gift shop and digging for your own treasures in the mine tailings. Our own discovered chunk of amethyst sits proudly amongst our travel treasures.

Now i know what Tommy Knockers are, Great and understand. This little tour was fascinating, loved the lore of the mine. I would love to be there but, it would take an act of God for me to travel that far with enough money to take all the tours you have to offer.
